So for my loyalty token I chose to change my username, but when I do it tells me that my password does not match when it is the one I use to log in, am I doing something wrong?

This sometimes happens when changing names (even on pets). If you change your password, that should clear this up for you and allow you to change it. Congrats on the loyalty token and early congrats on the name change.
