When I check the statistics/Opponent Breakdown for Ramblin, is says more overall numbers than when I actually win a battle, eg; I've just fought Eclipse, on the next page it says I won him 17 times, on the in depth statistics page it says fought 17 won 17 which is right, but on the opponent breakdown page it says total battles 26, won 24, lost 1, tied 1. I dont understand why the difference? Im always asking idiotic questions, it'll be something obvious I expect?

The opponent breakdown shows the total across all of your pets. You have seven wins on Eclipse with your other pet.
