I've got one of his books, but I can't remember which one it is. I read it awhile ago, but it was amazing. Might be the War of the Flowers. That sounds familiar.

War of the Flowers is his best book imo. I could read it all over again.

I recommend you his Shadowmarch series, if you liked his one book. Epic series.

Didn't someone from the other side grab him and bring him over to the.. fairy side? And then he helped fight this war or something between the different flowers? And eventually stayed. And the pixie turned big?

And Shadowmarch series is about war between fairy folks and humans and one human kind (north) against other (south). Very complex and new Great characters. You can almost symphatize with evil fairies because they actually have right in this war.
