Alright, so I'm working on a new art project- Custom MLP dolls, but I'm not sure how to do the hair or what to use for them.

I'm doing blind bags but I've become stumped on what to use for the hair. Apoxie is one idea and super sculptie is another.

Apoxie doesn't need baking but I'm not sure how strong it is, and some of the dolls are being turned into necklaces.

Super sculptie is strong but requires baking and I don't know how safe it is to put plastic in an oven. :x

So..anyone have any advice?

Perhaps if you did the super sculptie, you could glue it to the doll after it cooled. I found this, maybe it will have some helpful advice? I've never worked with either material, I wish I could be of more assistance.

If you are doing original MLP, there are lots of resources out there to help. My favorite custom MLP artist is Woosie. You should also check out The MLP Arena. They have the largest custom work board for old MLPs that I've seen. Good luck!

I'll have to check it out and thank you! And no, I'm not much for the original mlp's but the blind bags are adorable and are easy to make into keychains and necklaces, which is why I'm picking them.
