EXP is the experience that you earn from beating an opponent in battle and can be used to increase your pet's stats here.

You can also earn EXP through the Battle Quests.

Most people I've seen talking about it say that it's better to save up your EXP for when you would otherwise have to use a stat booster, since the cost apparently doesn't go up, but I'm not 100% on that. (I mean, I currently have a pet with over 200 health, and one at 10 health and health costs 1,500 EXP for either of them, so perhaps it does stay the same)

I've read that other people save up the EXP and use them on level since that's the cheapest.

It really just depends on when you want to use it.

The XP cost of stats remain the same in the BC.

What gets more expensive, is training sessions and their duration.

So, once your pet is at level 1000, you will be happy to be able to add stats fast and easily via XP.

My pets sessions for example cost over 72k and last 800 minutes, so less than 2 lessons per day.

Woah, that's crazy o.O; I'll definitely wait until stats are over 1000 then to even consider using up any EXP.
