I'm putting this here because it's more about music than help :P I'm entering my school's talent show and I'd really like to sing but I can't find a good song to sing :(

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions as to some good songs for a low alto to a low soprano to sing. Basically something like Missing by Evanescence or something lower than that. Anything higher and I can't sing it -.- I would sing Missing, but someone is already doing that one and we can't have two people singing a song by the same band.

Solitary Ground by Epica

Fairly simple song, and one of my personal favorites. My range is about the same as how you described your own, and I love to belt out this song in the car. |D

I don't know why EVERY lyrics site seems to have the wrong lyrics for this song, but whatever. It's pretty obvious the first line is "Living at different paces" not places, and that the last line of the second verse is "A fading illusion that plagues me instead" not now. Oh that's such a beautiful song ^^ It's a little bit to high for me though haha. I wish I could sing it though! I really appreciate you suggesting it :) I'll for sure add it to my playlist though haha.

Hmm, maybe try this song? My Song for You by Amanda Somerville It's lower, and one of Amanda's other songs was actually thought to be Amy Lee's for a while (Angel of Mine). :b
