Whenever I try to add a backdrop on my HA, it overlaps my hair layer! Do you have the same problem and give me some advice?

Move if wrong place

You can drag your backdrop layer underneath all your other layers so it doesn't overlap your hair :D

Easily fixed problem. When you are background on you have to make sure its underneath the "(hair) Hair Layer" layer c:

Even though my HA is occasionally human, I am actually a pony.

click and hold down the layer you want to move and then drag it down.
