Yesterday my mom drove my son and me to his playsession. There is a parking block on the way and people coming from it drive half-round on the road we where driving on. The traffic lights in front of us where red, so my mom stopped, at the line that is on the street, before the parking block exit. Some seconds later a car drives by us and shoves in front of us. There was still a place, but my mom stopped sooner because when a car would come out of the parking block it would have just blocked half of the street.
So, nothing wrong with that guy in front of us, she was okay with it. But then that woman in the car behind us was starting to honk. Mom ignored it. And she honked again and again. We both just started laughing as we saw the woman behind us. She started raging in her car for over a minute, smashing on her steering wheel and showiung us the finger. Then the traffic lights turned green and we drove. On the next traffic lights she was standing next to us because, tadaaa, it was red.
So, lady, you could have saved all that raging, you would have had to stop there no matter what. You could have been in front of us and would have still stopped there.
It was just so much fun seeing this woman raging over basically nothing at all. What's up with that? Why do people rage over nothing like this? I don't feel mean for laughing about her because it was really a funny situation.
So, CC, have you seen someone raging over nothing at all recently? Or do you rage over nothing?
Some people are just impatient and have anger management issues. My brother has some anger issues and he can flip over nothing really.
The only thing I rage over is when I am getting killed by other players in World of Warcraft :P But that's mostly because I hate player vs player mode.
I've seen people at the store raging over nothing though. It's kinda freaky sometimes, how they can be angry over something as small as "sorry, we have run out of that item".
She was flipping out over you stopping for a red light? That's surreal. Lady you have to stop for those, it's the law. I have a slightly similar story, but one night my dad and I were driving to the store to pick up some stuff and we stop behind this guy at a stop light. The light turns green and we wait for the guy to go only he doesn't. We wait another minute and he's still just sitting there. My dad, thinking this guy might be distracted by something or other, taps his horn. Not loud honking in the least mind you just a little tap to go "hey are you aware the light is green now?" Sure enough the guy starts moving and we go to the store not thinking much of it until this old guy, in his 60's at least, comes up to my dad and gets all in his face about honking at him back there. "Are you the jerk who honked at me?" "Yes? I'm sorry but the light was green and I thought-" And then this guy just punches my dad in the face. Seriously just sucker punches him. And then one of the grocery store clerks asks him to leave. Luckily this guy apparently didn't hit very hard according to my dad but it was still the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me.
Not really because we stopped at the red light. But you see, it's basically set up like this: The Second Car drove by us, shoved in front, directly behind the traffic light. But when my mom would have moved foreward (which she could have done) any car coming out of the parking block (the round thing) would just block the street behind her, because they drive out where the arrow is. So she left space for a car to come out. When the other car drove in front of her she was fine with it, as there was still enough room for another car to shove in and not blocking anything. But that little space was the reason this woman started raging. I mean, it wouldn't have changed anything if my mom would have moved foreward, because the next traffic light was red when she arrived, so she would have waited this way or that way. It was just so bizarre XD
And omg at that idiot who puched your dad x.x There are seriously some dicks out there :/
Oh god... people these days. I ride on a scooter to go to work, little bitsy scooter. My maximum is 70 km/h. I had to drive on a 70km/h limit road once. Oh the horror. People would drive past at 100km/h. And honking. I'M AT THE FUCKING SPEED LIMIT. And like your mom, I let a space if I'm at a light and there's a parking entrance in front. I'm at the middle of the lane, on my little scooter, and people get frustrated when they are behind me, so they DRIVE PASS VERY CLOSE and take the place I leave for the people who wants to enter/leave the parking lot. Would they do that with another car? NOOOOOOOOO. But because I'm on a scooter people think they can do whatever they want v___v
