EDIT: Talking about the regular game, not the new testversion.
Erm.. just got an error message while having everything in right place.. THIS is what i'm getting. I double and triple checked if there are any doubles, but nothing. Is it even possible to fill all numbers correctly, but still getting different solution than saved in the database? I spent like.. 40 minutes for this one and thats it.. ? =/
Did you happen to open up the other version while it was up for testing? Cause that would override the one you were doing before. The same thing happened to another user on the testing thread.
Nop, the regular one was the only one i had open in a tab. I mean.. theoretically it IS possible to get different solutions, but.. i hoped all of them would be stored/saved.. =/
It doesn't actually check against a solution stored in the database, it only checks that the initial numbers that were filled in match in the grid that the game submitted. though there is actually only one unique solution to each puzzle.
have you started a new game? because the grid that's behind the error definitely doesn't match the grid that's in the database. and the one in the database couldn't have been started before the new version (i can tell because the difficulty is stored in the database as well).
Hmm.. lemme think.. I was playing pretty much all day, i also started a game of the test version. However, after choosing a difficulty i realized i rather wanted to finish my scores, closed the tab again and went back to the old (was waiting in another tab). After that i started new games several times because i lost my patience. Then the above situation happened, i made a screenshot, restarted and made this topic. (or made this topic at first and then restarted, not 100% sure anymore).
Did the game i started on the new version affect the old one? already asked, but i didn't notice any other errors during the puzzles i tried between.. =/
(EDIT: Btw, the music is awesome!! Did you guys create it or is it available somewhere else?)
yeah, opening the game in the testing version would've overwritten your game in the regular one (which i do apologize about not mentioning in my initial post!).

Oooh.. i thought it would just overwrite the puzzle i currently worked on, not the entire game.. Whoops. ^^' Thanks for the info, now everything makes sense! x)
Oh thank you much for the other info, i wondered if you guys are making all this awesome music. ^^ Could listening to it all day.. ^^
( you've been right! I'm a derp. ^^)
