I was editing my forum stuff and I found that what you see in my signature is 326 pixels wide, while my forum text is less. That cannot be right. Here is what I mean:

Am I doing something wrong? I've been editing my forum text and signature many times over the years, yet I have never encountered this issue before. Did something change?

Yes, I am aware of this. However, when doing this sort of thing in the past, the width/horizontal space was not nearly this much. I just wanted to know what changed, because before, something like what I have would only take up around 38 pixels, if I'm remember correctly. I'm not arguing that it shouldn't be longer because it is. My issue is that the signature width seems to be too wide, and I didn't know if it was accurate or not based on my previous/consecutive/w/e years here.

oh, sorry, i misunderstood what youw ere saying.

the sizing thing is really meant to help out more with images than anything, i'm honestly not that surprised it's being inaccurate with just text (to be honest it's not all that accurate with images, either, because it often figures out the size before the image finishes loading). it's nothing you need to worry about, though, ebcause the sizes don't apply to text :)
