Hey there, I'm PineappleTiger. I've been here for about a week, and I'm really enjoying this site so far. For a little info about me, I'm a 20 year old female attending college in northeastern United States. My interests include reading, writing, RPing, the outdoors, raves, motorcycles, and xbox games, to name a few. Oh, and I'm also majoring in biochemistry and biophysics.

Next I'll probably hit up the writing and RP forums. If anyone is interested in starting a RP with me, feel free to send me a message. Or if you have any writing that you'd like me to read and comment on, I'd be happy to. Or just post here and tell me about yourself. :)

The RP forums are awesome, and though personally I prefer pet RP, you'll have no trouble finding someone to do just about anything. C: Ooh, your major sounds awesome! Are you enjoying it?

I'm actually really interested in doing a pet RP right now, but I didn't find any on the forums. I was sort of assuming pet RPs weren't popular or something, so I'm glad to hear somebody else is interested. I was just about to post on the RP planning forum to see if anybody would join a pet RP.

My major is...difficult. I have sort of a love hate relationship with it. I'm mainly interested in the chemistry aspect, especially drug synthesis.

Welcome! :D I'm also 20. I want to get into the Bio program at my school, when I go back. I've had some financial issues with the school and had to take a year off. I had a friend who tried a biochem/biophysics major.. they didn't last long. Very very hard major. You must really have a passion.

I feel you, I've got loans up to my eyeballs. Bio is awesome, what are you planning on doing after school?

To be honest, i'm not sure, but Biology is one of the only things I really like, so I figure i'd figure it out once i'm in the general program. I'm not very good at thinking ahead. When I was little, I wanted to be a Vet, but I wouldn't be able to put things down and I think i'd take it too hard if they died on me, but one the other hand, i'm so good at dissecting stuff, which is a miracle because I can't properly use eating utensils for some reason. And now i've gone off into rambling.

Short answer, I'll figure it out?

Yeah, I messed up on my loans so I owed 5k before being allowed back, which is bad because i'm not exactly rich. I've saved enough now with the help of my parents (My dad got a bonus from untaken holidays when he switched jobs.), you live and learn.

Wow you sound a lot like me, I was always interested in being a surgeon, but I'm not sure if I could move on if somebody died on me. Either that or I wanted to be a zoo vet, but similar issue there. That and my grades are not medical or vet school material unfortunately. So it seems I'm aiming for some sort of pharmaceutical job. The downside to that is lab work often involves testing on animals... I would feel so guilty doing that. So maybe I'm not sure what I'm doing either.

But we'll both be fine, there are tons of job options for bio related majors.

It is sometimes hard to find pet RP on the boards, but there are 100% definitely people who do it. The best way to look would be to join this forum group, and then ping it when you're creating your planning thread, to attract people. But if you're looking, just ask me, I'd love to RP, haven't in ages. C:

And I can totally understand your feelings on your major! I have to complete a maths module on my course which is something I dropped years ago out of complete and utter hatred, but so far I'm actually doing pretty well with it. Here's hoping we can keep on the bits we love!

Maybe we should co-create a pet RP? I suppose this isn't the place to discuss it, but you could message me? Or one of us could start a thread in the RP planning forum.
