Time to remake this thread! I like to stalk the forum here to spend my sP and CSC on art, but in case any of y'all want to come to me, here's my buying thread!

I'm basically always looking and have a lot of sP and CSC to spend. My USD budget is basically spent - I only have an offensively little amount I'd be able to buy with. I'm also willing to do art trades (here's my art blog) - ask me about it, or check my art shop thread.

These are the guys I'm currently looking for art of (these are links):

• Jilles, horribly ill but friendly and good-natured mob bodyguard (one-page ref)
• Wesley, neurotic, antisocial brat and reluctant crime heir (one-page ref)
• Daniel, troubled and sarcastic bodyguard keeping the world at arm's length (one-page ref) (best fullbody ref)
• Tennant, charming but vicious one-armed head of a prostitution ring (one-page ref)(best fullbody ref)

Jilles and Wesley are (adoptive) brothers and very close. The combination of Jilles' loneliness and Wes' difficulty socializing makes them clingy and co-dependent. Jilles dotes on the only family he has that wants him around, while Wes is just trying to cope with watching his best friend slip away.

Daniel and Tennant are a long-time couple and rarely seen apart, although officially their relationship is "bodyguard and employer." They each help compensate for the other's dysfunctions and love each other dearly, not that this humanizing bit of information reaches the ears of everyone who gets on Tennant's bad side.

WHAT I WANT

I'm looking for all kinds of art of these guys. Traditional or digital doesn't matter to me, and I like headshots, halfbodies, fullbodies, couple pictures, chibis, pixels - anything you're willing or want to do!

I am at least a little picky that you're willing to draw facial features tailored to the characters, rather than faces that are all stylized the same way. I like anime, but a shiny, big eyed style doesn't work out well for these guys! I also don't like drawings that are heavily referenced from photos because I just have not seen a real person who reminds me enough of my characters. They're cartoony people.

I love art that's semi-realistic, cartoony, comicky, or very expressive. I also usually prefer sketchy lineart to clean, uniform lineart. I like pictures of them standing around looking pretty, but drawings of them doing and/or feeling things, even ridiculous and silly things that make them look dumb, make me really happy! I don't take them too seriously and fully encourage you to let loose and have fun with them. Even if that fun is them after a fist fight or with a cat pinning their hand down or drinking coffee that's too hot. Especially if it's those things.

DRAWING IDEAS

(None of these are anything you have to do - just some ideas in case they help!)

Jilles// looking uneasy, looking sick, ill and huddled up in a blanket, exhausted, flustered, rubbing the back of his neck, tugging on his gloves, fingers laced, drinking coffee from a mug or thermos, threatening someone with a corkscrew

Wesley// nervous, sad, scared, biting his lip, scratching his head, hugging his knees, seeking comfort from a fluffy white cat, reading and looking disinterested in you, with a hawk, lacking the patience to deal with people

Daniel// smoking, calm, waiting patiently or impatiently, smoking (cannot be overstated, he should probably be smoking), drinking (beer or wine), cooking, irritated (probably at Tennant), a little roughed up, detached, disengaged, lots of sitting and standing around basically, he's a chill guy with interests that aren't that fun to draw (movies and food)

Tennant// looking pleased with himself, smiling warmly, hand on his chin, smoking, beat up (black eye, bruised, bloody nose, cut lip, etc.) and looking very pleased with himself (masochist!), smoking, looking a little menacing, blood (that isn't his) on his hand

Jilles and Wes// Wes reading sitting against Jilles, distressed Wes waiting on nauseous/generally unwell Jilles, Jilles being all intimidating to keep someone away from Wes hiding behind

Daniel and Tennant// Couple stuff, any sort of kissing/cuddling, arm(s) around each other, Daniel carrying Tennant, Daniel tending to a Tennant after Tennant got into fight and being annoyed that he got into one, Tennant comforting a very depressed Daniel
