I have been in book nook for the past ~4 hours and not one book has restocked that is worth more than 100k.
The Bake Shop, same deal.
Get Mugged, same deal.
Grooming Parlour, a couple items worth of value.
Why so slow?
I'm not 100% sure on this but I do believe every rarity has a percentage when it comes to being restocked. Book Nook is a popular place to get books and the rarer the book the more harder it is to snag one. They tend to go fast even if you're paying attention. The other shops I'm not really sure. I do find Subeta's restocking is a bit off most days but I guess it all depends on the time of day.
there are way too many items in those shops so the algorythm is pretty fucked up when it comes to rarer items. You usually have more luck vending them

There is a reason why they are worth more than 100K.
Because they don't restock a lot.
If they did, they wouldn't be worth 100K
That's true, to an extent, but 100k isn't really a lot in my opinion. For four shops to restock a couple of items worth that much in four hours is a bit ridiculous imo.
Granted restocking isn't the only way to make sP, it's actually a pretty poor one if you factor in the time you spend doing it. Neopets was all about it but subeta has lots of other viable ways you can consider.

And this is why I stopped restocking; it used to be fun (see my highscore/top 20 rank on it) and worth the effort for me but not anymore. I heard Keith wants to move away from restocking anyway so I doubt there will be improvements...
It may not be the BEST way to make sP but it's by far my favorite. I just wish the shops would restock valuable items a LITTLE more often..refreshing in a shop for 4 hours and not purchasing one item..come on..
this
you make the BEST, most bangin profit RSing things that are 14k-30k and shops. these are the prices people dont think twice about buying for a quest. if anyone gets an item more than 70k in quest they are mostly likely going to give up, unless maybe for sag. or item hunt. other than that you are relying on people buying off their WL i'd think, which unless you are RSing wearables can take a while to happen.
wow shit i necrod a thread did i really just oops sorry D;
