I've noticed that the little pop-ups that appear when you have new events/notifications have stopped coming up for me. Now I can't see if I have a new notification until I refresh the page or navigate to a new one within the site. The little ticker that appears in the tab for new events also isn't showing up. I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but it only started today for me.

Is it just for group pings? I know Keith had to turn them off when he was fixing them, because of the massive amount of data it had to run through when pinging the bigger groups. I got the impression he's going to try to put it back at some point!

It's for any and all notifications that I've received, including normal pings, alerts for new posts on threads I'm subscribed to, new achievement messages, etc.

i've gotten this as well. subeta's favicon no longer updates for new events, so i managed to miss 7 training alerts before i realized something was up.

I'm not sure if it's intentional across the board or just for group pings, but I'll double check!

Okay, it should be working on other things, but doesn't work on the https site. Are you on the regular http?

It doesn't say whether or not I'm on http or https in my URL bar, but I am using the HTTPS Everywhere add-on, so I'll disable that and see what happens, as I'm sure it's taking me to https pages whenever it can.

Fix hasn't done anything for me at the time I'm writing this.

EDIT: The feature seems to be working now, a little over an hour after initially making this post. I did notice that I had to suddenly accept a new script on NoScript (I'm assuming this was the fix), so I did that and disabled HTTPS Everywhere. I don't know which action fixed the problem exactly, I definitely want to thank you guys for paying attention to this and working on it!
