Does anyone read this genre? If so, who are your favorite authors?

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Gena Showalter, Larissa Ione, and Katie MacAlister.

Oooo...a genre that I read! I have read some Sherrilyn Kenyon and Christine Feehan (thank goodness for my brother's gf: she's loaning me all of the "Dark" series.) I truly enjoy Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson series (I just started on three of her other series...one book each), Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series and the stand alone books, Carrie Vaughn's Kitty Norville series, and Rachel Vincent's Shifter series.

I'm so picky when it comes to paranormal romance but I really love Patricia Briggs novels, Carrie Vaughn's Kitty Norville series, and a few of Kelly Armstrong's books.

Randomly, I enjoyed Ameilia Atwater-Rhodes. All of her books have an elemental of romance to them, though I think she wrote the first one when she was 14 (I'm pretty sure of the age), so the later ones are better. I really enjoyed the series that followed Hawksong. That was one of my favorite series when it first came out. I can't remember any other paranormal romance authors that you guys haven't mentioned.

....however, thinking about it, there's always Laurell K. Hamilton, but he books go from being supernatural mystery/romance to just being pointless word porn, so I'm not a huge fan. The earlier books, where there is still plot, are pretty good though.

I really like the idea of paranormal romance, but I've never been able to get into a book. I've tried a little of Sherrilyn Kenyon's stuff, since she's from my state and I've met her a few times, but I just can't get into it! I'd love it if anyone would recommend me some delicious PR though. I've also tried Laurell K. Hamilton, and I do like her stuff, but I haven't been able to read very much of it thus far.

I'm currently reading Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld series. It's about three sisters who are working for an intelligence agency. One's a witch, one's a vampire and the other is a shifter. The shifter turns into a gold tabby cat. They're all half faerie. The books are really good.

I almost only read paranormal Romance books.

I have read: 1 book by Yasmine Galenorn, Otherworld A few of Patricia Briggs books 1 book by Carrie Vaughn, Kitty Norville 2 books by Kelly Armstrong, Darkest Powers and Women of the Otherworld 1 or 2 books by Keri Arthur, Riley Jenson 2 or 3 books by Rachel Vincent, Shifter And I really don't know how many books by Gena Showalter 5-7 books by L.J. Smith, Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle and Night World

I've read many other books too, but I can't remember Everyone is looking strangely at me when I tell them that I like Paranormal Romance books and how many I've read, am I a weirdo or something? And am I weird by liking Paranormal Romance erotic novels?

You're not weird at all. I'm pretty exclusive to Paranormal Romance myself.

Has anyone read the 4 Horsemen series by Larissa Ione?

They're fun! But I don't know f I'd classify the Dresden files here, but there are a lot of shared tropes, so.

I've dabbled in them! There are some I can definitely, but the one that stuck out to me the most this paranormal romance/erotica novel called "Lord of Legends." It's about the prince of unicorns that comes into our world and takes the form of a handsome man. He's captured by this evil duke guy but the duke's wife falls in love with him, and for some reason it's important that she's a virgin but I can't remember why. More seriously, I've really enjoyed the Riley Jenson series! ;u;
