okay wow, when i saw that scrolling across my dash yesterday I pretty much ran round the room announcing my excitement to everyone who didn't care xD.
For those who are a little lost, Tales of Vesperia went out of print a long while back after minimal copies were released. Trying to purchase the game retail now will set you back £120 pound or $200 dollars. or the ps3 version/ordering on playasia will set you back £60 quid or $98 or so dollars. The game is avaliable for £19.99 or $32 dollars.
I hope they continue bringing games to demand c: maybe some more japanese rpgs that induce rage, tears and grinding in the near future. If you didn't, like me get a chance to play it before go buy it now. True, xbox owners miss out on the extra unlockable costumes but for those of us who don't yet have a ps3 its a bargain c:

Yeah I downloaded it a couple of days ago. :D I was really happy they released Tales of Vesperia to Games on Demand. I meant to get it aaaages ago, but then I had trouble finding a copy. Now the price for retail copy is insane! D: It was bad enough when I paid around £50 to get Tales of Symphonia for Gamecube. And that was a used copy. X_X In great condition though, and TOTALLY worth it. <3
I was up until past 3 AM waiting for it to download (should have waited until the next day. Silly me!). Didn't want to leave it overnight, since the console had already disconnected from Live twice during the download, but it was worth it. Loving this game. Loving the opening music. One of the only games I sit through the starting sequence for again and again. Just to hear "Ring a Bell" (which has gone straight onto my list of songs to buy next time I get stuff from Amazon's MP3 store x3).
I've never downloaded a game like this on Xbox Live before. XBLA games, yes, but not 360 games that can be bought on disc. Hopefully I'll never have to do that again! xD But if it's a LOT cheaper to get a game I REALLY want this way, I'd probably put myself through that again.
Makes me glad I got a larger hard drive for my console a few months back. Never would have gotten Vesperia on the old one! >w<
