I'll try and read anything ... but when it comes to books I tend to be picky. No mention of Twilight or any other series' that have been written by the same author. Actually no vampire tales... I can make my own up in my head. XD

No overly romantic ... or heavily romanced novels/series unless it's amusing in any way then by all means please share the titles!

I've been desperately trying to find a novel or series based around Male x Male couples that is NOT in Manga or printed in Japanese. The reason I ask if anyone knows is I'm wanting something different. If you know ANY novels (fantasy would be a HUGE +1) please let me know, I'll love you forever for the help!

Other then that please post away, all help and recommendations are welcome and appreciated. I also know of Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and a few other mainstream series' so no need to mention them. Thanks so much!

I'd recommend the Fallen Angels series by J. R. Ward. The first book is called "Covet" and is absolutely amazing. It's a series about a man who is sucked into a war between heaven and hell. He's playing for the heaven side and it's his job to find his "targets" of sorts and to help them along their path in life in a way that encourages them to choose the right way at a crossroads without actually telling them outright what they have to do. It sounds stupid and cheesy, but is very riveting and action-packed. The author also writes another series called the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, but it's about vampires lol. I know you said you wanted to avoid the vampire genre, but I swear it on my life that her vampire series is a wicked awesome one, and believe me, I'm hard to please. :D

The author issssss Jsobelle Carmody I'm not very good at explaining but its set in a world that is struggling back from an apocalypse, life is harsh and some people have advanced mental abilities but they are seen as evil and are usually killed or sent to institutions. It is amazing I really enjoy it XD It doesn't have any romance or very little in the first 3 books I have read which I love because I'm not a fan of heavy romance either. I have stayed up 3 nights in a row trying to finish all the books XD
