Hey, artsy people! I'm pretty new* in all that Overlay stuff. So as far as I know there are two kinds of Pet Overlays: the ones where you simply code your picture over the normal pet profile one and those where you pay CSC and the Overlay is shown everywhere your pet shows up (Pet highlight, little pet pic on your profile etc.) So I was wondering: 1.) Can I use the normal Subeta Outline for a pet, change (for example) the colors, pay the CSC and still get to show that picture around or does it have to be completely non-subeta drawn? 2.) Is the code-version even legal?
I'm sorry if those questions are already answered somewhere, but my forum search seems to not work...
*"new" meaning I don't have any idea how that CSC-stuff works. 'Cause I'm stoopid ;)
I think, though I'm not 100%, that 1) is okay, providing you change the colours, as iirc the rules only state that you cannot use 'unaltered' subeta art. But if you want to double-check, you can always file a ticket before submitting the overlay for approval. As for 2), yes, that's definitely fine, and staff has said that even though we now have an official overlay system, we're welcome to just stick to the code-version. Hope that helps! (:
Thanks , that helps a lot! I'll fill out a ticket and keep you postet, if you're interested?
Might be interesting for , too.
Sure! It'd be interesting to know how much official art needs to be changed.
That was faaaaaaaast! ^^
