Items being priced high for the special quest thing. I think it really is insane, i mean...items worth 1-10k before being sold for 200K>?! I know i know they do it for the sp because the quest asks for it and they happen to see they have that time and decide to get rich more than help. I just think its somewhat unfair. I will say this...it will give a whole new meaning to the words STOCK UP. Also...i have never been more happier to see shops restock an itemXD
I don't think people are doing it intentionally to profit. Malaria just doesn't ask for much and they all got bought up and turned in on the first day by the massive amount of people doing her quests. But yes.. I plan to vend a lot for when she's asked for again. It'll make things much cheaper.

Yup :|
I just took the cheap wearables out of my wardrobe that Maleria asked for and I'll buy them back after this.
It's not so much people inflating the items to be jerks, but just the way supply and demand works. If the quest asks for the same thing over and over, all the cheap items will be bought out of user shops until people have to start buying the ones that were overpriced before. And then, when someone restocks the item, they will probably match their price to the lowest showing in the shop search because that's what everyone buys them for. Don't worry, when the items aren't asked for as much they'll deflate.

It gets annoying yes but it happens. It happened with the Computer geek too. Kinda makes me glad I've been hoarding items for a long time just for Maleria. But also because she's giving out a lot of decent items people will buy up what they can to try and get their hands on better items, so that leaves the expensive stuff behind.
I have been looting my wardrobe too. Lol.
Nice rewards if you can get them Your Reward is:

. . . Someone told me I have two faults. I don't listen and . . . some other stuff they were rattling on about.
I've noticed this too. It was a bit harsh when I first saw, but then I just said whatever, and just didn't complete the expensive quests. C;
I don't think it has anything to do with people trying to get rich. The stuff maleria wants is just being bought faster than it is being restocked.
Everyone is in the same boat. I was buying things out of the main subeta shops today with the word dark in it. That way I would be able to complete more of her quests tomorrow. ;)
Thank you all for your opinions. I guess it is a demand/restock thing somewhat. I also like some of your ideas on how to solve this problem, good job:)
How is it unfair?
Most people who play and have quested know that Maleria asks for specific items. Just because some people chose to stock up on those items, doesn't make it unfair, it just makes them smart.
I am annoyed with the idiots that bought up the items that are common, normal, and borderline rare (that normally sell for no more than 20k) and raise the price to 400k. XD Seriously do they think someone is that desperate to complete a quest?

I am annoyed with my UN being on the title, it's not common or normal but a rather bordeline rare word. Seriously do people use it that much?

I agree it's so annoying. I just don't buy from shops that over price items and don't finish the quest. I usually do hers anyway, so I will just wait until this weekend is over and hope things get back to normal
That is just stupid. People are being really greedy. I was able to get some decent items on the first day, I think I'll leave it at that and see what next weekend has to offer instead.
No one is greedy, demand if just far superior to offer, so prices have rised. This is a normal phenomenon.

I did the same thing, and added them to my WL so I would remember which ones they were.
And JFC no one is being "greedy". If all the cheap items get bought up, then all the remaining ones will be expensive. I just autoprice my shop, I'm certainly not going to go through it and make sure all items with "black" or "purple" in the name are super cheap because I'm lazy.
