I waited 3 Months for the Name Snow and I was still too slow on that one... First, the account got an extra month to wait, after the auto clearing system released Second, I had to wait another day for clearing... (I don't need to go to sleep noooo~) Third, Userprofile who got that Pet can't be viewed? lol...

I'm just kinda pissed now. That really sucks. I have no luck.

Something like this happened to me as well with another name. Cron messed up and I thought the Account the name was on was "stuck" since at 3 pm a massive lag appeared from nowhere. I was like 'Oh well, tomorrow then!' just to see the Account was inactive 15 or 20 minutes later. OF COURSE the Petname was snagged. Yay? :D

Can we just make a sob board? Cuz there is gonna be a lot of that :x Personally I really wanted Breeze or Ballad.

I got so pissed at losing out on name clearings, I gave up and swore I'd never try again. Less stress makes for a happier punk :P

I missed on a pet name a long time ago and told myself LOL, NOT BOTHERING WITH THAT INSANITY ANYMORE. Not crying over pet names anymore.

Funnily enough I can live with that much easier than I can live with the fact that there are two names that I love to no end (and watch for several years now) where I most certainly will never get the chance to try for because all that keeps happening to them is that they get shipped from account to account to account...

I can relate to missing a pet name you've waited so long to get.

I waited three years for a pet name to become available, but the owner somehow always logged in just days before her account was eligible for clearing. Then one year she didn't and the account cleared. I was refreshing like crazy and got the page alert that said I had successfully created "pet name here". I immediately jumped up and started celebrating because I wanted the name so badly and finally got it. When I finished my celebration and sat back down to look at the pet I found out there had been a glitch and someone else actually got the pet even though I still had the screen up that said I got it. I felt stupid and foolish for being so excited and then not actually getting the pet. It was also going to be a tribute pet to something very dear to me that I lost as a child, so it was almost like losing that childhood treasure all over again. To make it worse the person who got the pet left their old pet profile up for nearly a year before changing it all to reflect the new name they had given their pet. I'll never try for another pet name again after that.

I hope the name Snow wasn't too terribly important too you, but I do sympathize because it's a great name. I hope something you like better comes to mind soon and that it's free for the taking. :)

I think that clearing was the only time that glitch ever happened, but it happened to several people. It just figures it would be that clearing that the name I was stalking for so long would become available.

Looking on the bright side of things though, at least we have the opportunity for good names on Subeta and don't have to resort to things like Faerie1092384. :) Of course, I make up most of my pets names anyway, so I don't usually have an issue with other people already having a name I want.

Aw that sucks :'( I had a name I wanted for years and it cleared before it was supposed to.. at least it went to someone awesome, but still.

Pet clearings make me so anxious, it's terrible. I always hope the names I want are too obscure for people to know about them haha
