Yeah there is definitely something wrong with the achievements for that. Mine has been stuck at the same number for like a week or so now, and I know it should have gone up at least a little bit in that time...

I'm going to retire this achievement. it never worked the way we really wanted it to, and it caused a lot of server stress because it was kind of a silly idea. Pushing more towards referrals. :)

No, it's not showing properly. I had made a comment about it but I never noticed any reply so I think it went passed by. This is a pic of how I am seeing it right now:
