Hi, I just joined last night before going to bed after randomly finding a yahoo answers article (haha) about sites similar to Neopets, which I stopped playing years ago. I'm in university now but was looking for something to do in-between studying. Any tips or advice on what to do? I've only been doing Sarah's quests so far.. Is there a guide of some sort out there? Thanks!

I haven't seen any guides on quests. I recommend Wizard Quests in Sacred Lands (gives you Wizard Tokens that you can use as payment for zapping your pets and to buy other things in some shops). You can also sell the tokens for a reasonable amount. Shinwa's quests (also in Sacred Lands) are good to do as well. Item Search is good too because for each quest you do, it raises you reward by 1000sP (and is therefore very profitable).

I meant Item Hunt. Oops.:P Item Hunt is a quest where you find items, bring them back, and get sP. You can also earn achievements from it.

: Usually if you've been inactive for 2 or more years on there, your account gets purged so you can't access it anymore. Maybe that's what happened? Then again, there's always a chance it wasn't purged. I've seen people who were inactive for 8+ years get their old accounts back.

That's what I thought! But I actually got into my side account, which is even stranger because I haven't been in there even longer!

Umm.. personal > wardrobe > pick the clothes > save outfit > wear outfit..? am i missing something?

: I think you're doing all the right steps ... try just clicking 'wear outfit' and skip the 'save outfit'.

I just removed all my clothes and tried again, haha. Are Shinwa's quests even worth it, because it seems I have to spend a lot everywhere else in order to get those pieces?... :(

: Still didn't work?:( Shinwa's Quests don't cost too much, usually.:) The items that other quests ask for are random - they could be 60,000sP or they could be 10sP. Usually they're in the 1,000sP-6,000sP range though. Very inexpensive, and you get great prizes and rewards!:) Some items that Shinwa gives out can also be worth over 1,000,000sP, so I'd say it's very worth it!

It usually takes the cache a couple minutes to load the new outfit. Welcome to Subeta! ^_^
