Anyone played Disney Infinity yet? It's so cool how it looks like a Disney version of Garry's Mod! I am super excited about it, but I don't have any of the new consoles. T_T If it turns out to be good, I might have to splurge and replace my PS2. xD

I bought it on a whim on the way home from work this evening. I am still unsure on whether I'm a big fan of it as I usually play shooter style games, but I think it might grow on me.

These action figure games are too much for me, lol. It looks really fun but I always get so caught up in getting all the characters and spending too much money no thanks (skylanders RIP me)

No, I haven't decided yet. I probably won't buy a whole new console, since I am cheap and I probably won't have time to play it anymore. : And I realized that I'd have to buy all the action figures, too. As mentioned, I think that would get to be a bad idea. xD

I never got into Skylanders, but I can see where you're coming from. It's a great way for them to make a ton of money xD. Hopefully I'll refrain from buying any extra characters.

Ok, so I am really thinking about buying it. I am just wondering if it is really easy? I mean, I know Super Mario Galaxy is kind of a "kid's game," but it can be really hard, so I am hoping Disney Infinity is the same.

Anyone have any opinions on difficulty levels?

Infinity is easy in comparison to Mario games(although in my experience most games are /shrug). Doesn't have any parts I've come across where you had to do something exactly right to beat it, but it's still challenging enough not to be boring, at least for me. The missions are only half of it, though, and are mostly there for you to unlock "toys" for the Toy Box, which is pretty fun to build in. Buying the characters/power discs can be addictive, though. xP

I agree with the add-ons getting addictive. I don't have them all, haven't gone crazy with them. But with the dupe power discs I have, I've listed them for sale and made my money back xD. I got a ton of achievements and then kind of...stopped playing. I might go back on later :).

What's your favourite level?

So far I've finished the Monsters one and most of the Pirates one. I think I liked the Monsters one more, because it takes much less time to get anywhere. xD We bought the Cars and Lone Ranger sets, too, since there was a sale at the store we got them from(one free character per play set), but I haven't played them yet.

Ah nice, I've finished Incredibles & Monsters. I haven't started Pirates yet, although people are saying it is their favourite, so maybe I should.

One tip I can give you is that if you ever get lost while sailing your ship, climb up the to crow's nest. You can look around and it'll tell you the names of the islands and what not. ^^
