I could really use some help with designing a frog. Unfortunately, I am terrible with frog anatomy and making it cartoon-ish isn't helping.

I am looking for a very specific pose. A pose like in this video when they're dancing, that very "elbows up and out, legs stiffly pushed forward and back when stepping." From like 2:05 - 2:10 and forward is what I'm talking about. But at 2:15 when the men are walking alone that is also a perfect example!

I have two sketches but I can't upload them quite yet. I'll get to it tomorrow but what I'm really looking for is to see if anyone can help me correct or even re-design the frog. I am making this drawing for a clay sculpt I'd wind up doing so I really, really could use some help.

The frog is going onto a lamp for my aunt for Mothers Day/the home she's buying. I'd really appreciate some help with this out of the goodness of your hearts because I can't afford to buy it. ;A;

would this be an anthro-ish frog, or proportionate-to-RL sized?

your sketches aren't up yet :c but~

if you haven't already, you can try pausing the video and sketching the desired pose using circles and lines very lightly, and then drawing the shape of the frog over the sketch with it as your guide as you're drawing the outline of the frog you can google picture references (maybe a photograph of a frog in its 'to be dissected' position could be of some help)

if this is what you were already doing, i apologize :c

i will draw for you forever !! @ my always open character freebie thread c:

I'm sorry, I had a big day! I have uploaded it and here it is! Click Here! Please excuse how bad it is, I was really just sketching him. The "pointed" type leg is not valid, please ignore it.

He's almost neither..? I guess anthro is closest, though.

That idea is fairly clever, but I mostly just need help.. I don't know. Picking which frog is better than then finalizing his details. My mother said the two circle frog is much better than the one circle frog. I though the one circle is cuter but she says it just doesn't look as much like a frog to her. I get her point. So, I want to work with him but.. I don't know. I think I need help finalizing things like hands and etc. before I sculpt him.
