I'm out of ideas with weapons & am given hoping just buying and hoping for the best. Sometimes I can beat an opponent easily with these and then face them again and struggle.

My pet Emmett has these stats: Level: 313 Health: 779 / 779 Strength: 783 Defense: 767 Speed: 716 Intelligence: 202

His weapons are: Reborn Icewand of Doom Deluxe Death Shard Bronze Clockwork Grenade Blackheart Blade Phoenix Quill Forj Tempered Kusarigama Massaquerade Blunderbuss

He also knows 2 spells which are Flare Star and Poisonous Barrage. So any recommendations on what I need to replace or get rid of completely please?

For scrolls you may wanna invest in a Terra Focujin scroll it's pretty good healing will help a lot. Also a Gorgun is a nice add on when you can freeze an opponent.

Your set is almost as similar as my own for my Tier 6. I tend to switch out a secondary attacker with either the Forj Tempered Kusarigama, Ice Rose (for the chance it'll activate its curse) and or Savage Skull Splitter to pair with the Reborn Icewand.

Amulet of Drakkonis is also nice to have because it's an extra healer and doesn't take up the healer slot.

The Reborn Icewand of Doom and Kusarigama are the attackers I use with my Tier 6-7 pets, so I think you're good on those. A Replica Minotaur Knocker might also be nice to get your hands on to use in place of the Kusarigama when you need some extra healing each turn. Other than that, a Rainbow Vortex or Shinwas Temple Shard will be indispensable and you will continue to use it for as long as you battle, same with a Recycle Blaster. Finally, I know most other battlers will laugh at this, but I really like the UltimaPlus Tag. It has a 25% heal, freezes about 50% of the time, has a decent chance to steal, and even has a modest attack on top of that. I still use it with my tier 11 pet, and I can't tell you how many times it has been the difference between a win and a loss!
