I have a shopping issue in real life which I'm currently trying to CONTROL to save some money... (what young female doesn't XD) and I've become addicted to The Sims 3.

This site is amazing for custom content and I've been gathering designer clothing for like an hour without having played yet today. It's actually helping. It's kind of giving me a similar high...but it's all free! Which actually makes the high better rofl, No 'oh god what have I done' afterwards.

I MEAN SERIOUSLY how pretty (I didn't make any of these, they can all be found on the site I linked, for free).

Go for it guys! :) What's your favourite CC? Not limited to clothing! Can be house decorations/appliances/anything! Also not limited to girls lmao, if any guys play feel free to share your manly CC as well. :D

;o; I want all three of those first sweaters. I haven't played Sims 3 in a while but I know I downloaded some nice clothes and hairstyles. I really like the furniture the most though :P Love decorating the houses. They always had really cool couches and beds and stuff on this one website, like modern style and such.

Now I want to play the Sims again :P

It's the most addictive game ever imo. XD You can just go on and on. Recently I started an A-Z legacy family.

So I decided to play again the other day and ended up playing for a few hours :P What's the legacy family thing though? I haven't been playing logged in so maybe that's why I don't know about it.

Legacy family is where you play to certain guidelines (although in the community, they have 'rules' but I tend to follow my own to make it more fun XD) while you play. For example you could decide to do a Matriarch dominated family (only the girls can be heirs/marry and have children/continue the legacy or Patriarch (same with guys) or you could do A-Z like I'm doing which is basically...every new generation has a letter of the alphabet in order. I'm currently still on A because I just started but her child(ren) would have names beginning with B and so on. :P Also helps to organise the whole family because even with kids of different ages you know who's come from where. XD

Some also have rules like no using cheats like motherlode which seems reasonable because then your family A are absolutely poor as anything but they build up their money as a family and by the time you reach F or something they'll be pretty well off I imagine. And other stuff that I forgot. But there are legacy 'challenges' in the Sims 3 forums.

Info here because I suck at explaining things properly. XD

Oh I see. That sounds really fun :D I always like doing the reward stuff so I'm sure having more "rules" to follow would make the game more interesting. Thanks for explaining!

TSR is a pretty good Sims 3 custom content site. I use it mostly for lots, it doesn't have much in the way of good hair. Good hair comes from Peggyzone. Hair, Peggyzone or XMSims. Clothes and lots, TSR or ModTheSims3. Gameplay mods, ModTheSims3.

But to find the truly good mods, you need to be willing to scour barely comprehensible Chinese blogs for custom content. You can get some unbelievably gorgeous add-ons that way.
