I really wish I had friends who actually had watched Inuyasha a long time ago, or understood it or whatever because it is giving me so many feelings and man oh man

I really don't want to spoil it in case people haven't watched it.

Every other episode theres either a death or a near death and some are more sad than others and it's not fair ;~;

I know exactly how you feel. I'm totally alone in my obsession with Inuyasha. I finally convinced my boyfriend to watch it, but he's still under episode 100, so I can't really discuss it, I'm afraid I'll let out some major spoilers. D: And also I don't know many people here on the site that like the manga either so... I'M GLAD I FOUND YOU OMG.

But yeah, The Final Act was really shocking for me. You watch up to the tenth episode and there are already a bunch of characters dead! And cool characters too! I actually felt really, really sad when some of them died. I was like "How could Rumiko Takahashi kill this character? HOW? This can't be!"

So yeah, this final season really was a bit unfair, but I still liked the way it ended! :D So yay!

I've been trying to watch only the dubbed version because it has deeper meaning to me and stuff. Mainly because it was sort of my childhood (11-13 year old me) thing. I ended up cheating and skipped to the end of the season and omg. It was perfection. I really wish it wasn't the actual end because I'd love to have seen them in their new lives. Probably would've spoiled the specialness, but man.

I didn't even like Kikyo that much, but her death was just so.. depressing. But by the end of that episode, I was bawling and everything was so so beautiful.

I prefer to watch i dubbed too, but when I watched Final Act I had to watch it subbed, the english dubbed version hadn't been made yet. Oh well.

I liked the ending, but, just like you, I wish we could know what happened next, like Miroku, Sango and their kids, Inuyasha and Kagome, Sesshoumaru, Kouga and Ayame... I wish she could make a special manga, maybe only one or two volumes telling these stories. It would make me so happy. ❤️

I really hated Kikyo in the beginning. She was a real pain in her first twenty or so episodes os apparition. Then she started to get a little nicer, imo. She was never my favorite character, but I felt pretty sad when she died. The scene was too moving, you know, with Inuyasha crying and everyone watching. And the final kiss he gave her was beautiful! I kinda reallt felt bad for her, the poor girl.

One death I really wish with all my might not to happen was Kagura's. I liked her so much! I just still can't believe she died. I secretly hoped Sesshoumaru and her would end up together in the end and BAM! she's dead. Thanks for squishing my hopes, Rumiko! LOL

I myself haven't gotten too far into The Final Act. I never have time. But, I did watch up to Kagura's death. It angered me quite a bit, but it was nice to see that Sesshomaru had gained some feelings for her after all. However... I sorta pair Rin and Sesshy. Seeing as by the time she becomes of age he'll only have gained a half a year (or less) of age himself, it seemed so probable to me. As for Kikyo... Tch. She was my idol as a kid, but then I grew to REALLY dislike her. It shocks me-- and in a rather negative way-- That InuYasha would bother kissing her one last time. Poor Kagome.

The official dub replaced Kagome and Sessomaru's voice actors. It's like, how do you replace one of the main character's voices?

Yeah, I can understand your point of view. Kagome must have felt really awful watching him say goodbye to Kikyo that way. But I still think she suffered too much in her lifetime. Idk. I kind of like and dislike her at the same time. Hard to explain, really.

The way Rumiko ended it, I'm sure Sesshy will stay with Rin. Definitely. Yet I still would prefer to see him with Kagura... But he's not my favorite character, and I like both Rin and Kagura, so either one of them is fine with me. ^-^

I read about that! I was so so so so incredibly angry! I watched a trailer of the new woman who dubs Kagome and couldn't believe it! They almost ruined her character. In my opinion the voice is one of the most important things. Try and replace Richard Cox (Inuyasha's voice actor) and see how much it'll suck! I wonder why they changed these voice actors...

Well, I actually liked the ending. But, as I've said before, I wish we could know a bit more about their new lives. I hope my wish will be granted in the new chapter Rumiko promised to release for the Tohoku Earthquake charity project this february! I'm really looking forward to it. -

Loved the show and have been following it since it first aired all the way back in the 90s on adult swim.

In the manga they added an extra chapter after the official ending making it ch.559 you can read it on mangahere.com if you haven't read it already.

Just curious, but has The Final Act been dubbed in English yet?

I tried watching it in Jap, but I couldn't get passed their voices.

I watched all the other seasons in English, so hearing the Jap voices was just off-putting.

I'm still watching through the main series but can't wait til I get to see the Final Act!

I read it! I thought it was nice, though I expected a bit more from it. But, then again, it is just a bonus chapter. :)

I love Inuyasha the Final act. The new voice actor for Sesshomaru is not half bad but OMG Kagome's voice drives me nuts. I got the whole last season too :3
