Lemme think...

Blade runner Back to the Future Pt. 2 The fifth element 12 Monkeys A Clockwork Orange Daybreakers Equilibrium Planet of the Apes The Book of Eli The Matrix V for Vendetta

That's the all the films that come to mind that're set in the future. Not really many happy outlooks, lol.

As for game, Mirror's Edge? I think that's set in the future.

Movies: Metropolis* Terminator 9 Wall-E 2001: A Space Odyssey*

Television: Futurama Firefly Doctor Who**

Books (I know you didn't ask for books, but I'm including them just in case - besides, there are movie adaptions of a lot of these): 1984* Fahrenheit 451 The Time Machine Uglies The Giver

Etc.

And if you really want to go nuts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Films_set_in_the_future

*These films were made long enough ago that "the future" is actually our present, or even past, with the exception of Metropolis (1927). I don't think Fritz Lang gave a date for the setting of Metropolis, but I get the distinct impression from it that it's set in if not our present then our past. **This is the only time travel show/movie I included, but the same goes for all time travel stories: while the setting of the time is primarily "the present" or at least ambiguous, there is enough time travel into the future that the idea still holds.

These were just what I could think of off the top of my head. I may be back later with more.
