I am tier 7 but can't beat tier 7 monsters... like the new one from the research notes (which is tier 6).

and managed to get 5 wins on the killer king and the only scroll he has is poisonous barrage which is not that great, I used a forj tempered machete and reborn icewand of doom, that was the only difference in my set to yours, If you don't have one already, I'd REALLY reccomend getting the icewand of doom, it has a nice attack/some defence but heals you 10% in battle and has a nice chance to freeze - I really think thats what helped me get the wins on him, since I managed to freeze him a few times in the battle :)

I'll try the wand and see how that works (the freeze in't in the MC anymore just the reborn :()

You can borrow mine and see if it helps you out before you spend a big chunk of your sp if you like :)

I don't remember what the fiery death scroll does, but you might want to invest in a healing scroll. Divine Denizhen or Terra Focujin are quite nice. The extra healing will keep you alive much longer.
