- You can use the mystical plushies only up until you have 20 pet slots. Since you have 10 pets, I'll going with this example... you can use the pet slot totem to bring yourself up to 11, but you will only be able to use the mystical plushies for the rest of your slots up to 20, ending you with 20 slots.

If on the other hand you used mystical plushies first to bring yourself from 10 to 20 slots and then used your pet slot totem, you would reach a total of 21 slots. Does this make sense? I myself feel that I wasted something like four totems by using them before reaching 20 slots. I would have much more than 22 now if I had saved them. It's really up to you and how many pets you think you want/will have.

Ooh interesting, I hope you don't mind me pinging you but do you know if the staff are going to be reversing that? Seems like an odd 'penalty' to incur for using your totem :c

I think it has to do with the fact that at one point 20 was the maximum you can have, period. Then the prices where changed and anyone that used them was given 2 pet slots so if you had 20, you now had 22, which they let you keep. If the Loyalty totems work like the "bonus ones" given out, it could be that the system doesn't count them as being a 'plushie' slot so while you get another one, it doesn't count towards the "plushie used" total.

I also don't think the plushies/totems to 20 is 100% accurate. I only got 3 slots from the totems (6 year player) and have 22 slots. I had 19 (so I bought 7 + 2 free from price change) before the loyalty totems where released. Buy what said, I shouldn't have 22 because I stopped using the plushies? I should only have 20? So if the cap was removed, it shouldn't matter. Though I'm not going to buy a plushie and test it.
