You're not allowed to trade pets, only put them UFA. And you need to list the names, colors, and species of all of the pets UFA, opposed to saying only one pet in particular isn't for adoption. Otherwise good luck.

I've been out the game for a good number of months, but I remember trading pets before... so now I can only ask for pets to be put up to adoption to me?

On Subtea trading for pets was never allowed. Neopets allowes it, Subeta not.
