So recently I made this Inuyasha bag. I'm wanting to sell it but I'm not sure how much, or if anyone would even buy it. Inuyasha Bag So my question is. How much would you pay? And Would you buy it.
Also on a side note; I have this pillow case, if anyone is interested in a skirt message me. And we will talk. I want to make a skirt with it, but it's not big enough for me to make one for me, and no one else i know in RL would want one.
And since I don't get on Subeta much..My friend is going to help me watch this thread. : )
This belongs in Pricing Assistance & Suggestions, and so I have moved it here ~
I would say anywhere from $10-$20 dollars. I would buy it, fortunately I'm broke at the moment.
Are you sure this is legal? I'm pretty sure you are not supposed to sell any merchandise for anime characters as long as you don't get a licence from the artist.. Same goes for the whole fanmade pokemon charms etc..
I think the bag is relly pretty, but I'd suggest to do some research before going to sell stuff like that. ;D
Really? I see people sell similar things with anime characters on DA, Etsy and at conventions. (plushes, buttons, prints, charms)
Yes and i doubt this is legal as well..xD I'm not entirely sure if you are supposed to sell stuff just using a char but drawing it all yourself, but as soon as you simply copy a pic thats obviously directly from the anime its not legal as far as i know. They have the copyright on the anime and manga and if you are selling copies out of either without having a licence they can easily sue you. Especially if there is already merchandising using the same images.
Like i said, i'm not sure, i'd do some research on the internet - maybe you can find something about the usage of chars you don't own as artist..
Not in my country. It's strictly forbidden to do so. You are only allowed to sell original merchandise from Japan or whereever it comes from (although I sometimes doubt it lol)
As for this bag, I think it's okay to sell it on DeviantArt, when the image on that bag was drawn by yourself. If not, it's not really "handmade" and you shouldn't sell it - at least not in official terms as in offering it for sale. (People run up a wall when they see that you're using screenshots or official art, so I'd recommend not doing so, since people already fuss over taken screenshots in your submissions on DA.)
