So I've been working on this for a while and I was gonna start doing the clean lines today, but I got paranoid and thought maybe I'd get a little input first. :T

I pretty much never draw this many characters in one image so I'm worried that it's just kind of an anatomical/compositional trainwreck. XD Please don't be afraid to be critical.

I think it looks great. :D No awkward anatomy there as far as I can see, and the composition looks cool! I can never fit many characters into one picture, it's so difficult. XD You did a good job though.

The only thing about the anatomy that looks a bit weird to me are the long arms of the yellow creature (I think it's a dog, right?). The arms are a little bit too long. Overall, it looks very nice :)

This is working out really well so far. I love that LSP is being sort of shoved off, and all the expressions are fantastic. Your style lends itself well to making the crew more realistic without loosing the cartoony nature, so that (to me), the exaggerated anatomy of Jake mid-stretch doesn't look at all out of place.

One thing I'm not sure on is angle of Marceline's axe. It looks a little like it's being shoved into her arm. That might just mean it needs shading to show depth, or else the angle on the actual body needs adjusting? The strap also looks a little stiff, but I'm not actual sure if she has a more flexible strap on her base or not.

Other than that, Lady Rainicorn's hooves look slightly out of place with her more realistic head and the style of the piece overall.

Although my eyes don't tell me this is wrong, I would make sure to establish a focus point/eye-line, so everything below that is seen from "above", and below from "below" (the only thing that made me think of this is that Jake/Marceline seem to be at eye level, while Finn and PB seem to be viewed from below? But again, it doesn't look wrong to me, so I might be making too much of it while trying to offer constructive criticism on a pretty tight piece.

heh, well the character is meant to have so-called "stretchy powers" that let him change his shape, but maybe if I lengthened the back legs a little too it would look a little less out of place? Thank you though~ <3

ah man thank you! Not only are you too kind, but I think you've managed to hit on all the things I was struggling with while I was sketching this. XD I was definitely not sure about the angle of Marceline's axe bass, I was trying to draw it at more of an angle and just... failed, kind of. I'll probably pull up some references and maybe use my own guitar to get a better idea of how to make that work.

Admittedly Lady's hooves were just me getting tired and lazy, so I'll add a bit more detail to them.

As for the focus, what I'm hoping to do is work in some suggestion of a background, even if it's just some clouds and a vague skyline, just to give the picture a more definite perspective, and then use some shading to strengthen that.

Overall thanks all three of you for your input and suggestions! I'm feeling way more confident now and after a few tweaks I think I'll move right along with the line work. 8D
