Trying to do the Major Drills quests.

Currently my instructions are to "Give your pet a Sun Fester Hand Puppet to play with."

I went and bought a Sun Fester Hand Puppet but when I click on it in my inventory there is no option to "give" it to any of my pets. I tried putting it in one of my pet's treasure chests, I tried playing with all of my pets (they all thought the hand puppet was boring), but it still won't trigger on the Major Drills page.

Is there something I'm missing?

Do they all have full happiness? If your pets are all finding the toy boring, it doesn't count for Drills. They have to enjoy playing with the toy, and it will be removed from your inventory if successful.

Blah, I JUST saw the Major Drils thread. Oops. :P

They do all have full happiness, yes. Every single one of them hated the toy.

At least it wasn't an expensive item...
