I really hope this is the right section to put this in? I don't really have any idea about the CW submission scene but I would like to get into it and possibly even submit my own if I ever have the time to draw one, but I have a few questions beforehand that I haven't been able to find answers to. Any help would be much appreciated and I'm sorry if these have been answered somewhere recently, because I haven't seen them. ANYWAY, my questions:

1. If a submission gets rejected and one needs to resubmit it, what happens to the CSC used? Is it gone forever or does the submitter get it back?

2. If one submits a unisex item, does it matter if the submitter uses the male or female base? (This is probably a dumb question but one can never be too sure.)

3. How exactly do batches work? How exactly does one release new batches and does it cost more CSC?

4. This question is a bit more personal than the others. When you submitted your very first CW, how did you go about getting the 5k CSC? Did you pay cash, buy giftcards with sP, or maybe a mixture of both? Or did you collect it from interested buyers and then submit?

1. The submitter and users paying for the other slots get their money back in the case of a denial. (There is a page where you input usernames + the price in csc that they're paying)

2. You submit the item with a transparent background, you do not submit it with a base attached.

3. When you first submit an item, it asks you how many batches. From 1 to unlimited. You submit batches of 10 items at a time, and each time each batch costs 5000 csc.

4. My first CW was made by collecting interested parties who wanted a copy and letting them each pay for their slots.

Sorry, I hope it's alright if I ping you, I also have a couple questions >A<

1. So if you price each slot at 600 csc and each batch costs 5k csc, do you get the 1k extra csc as profit?
2. If the above is true, then if you price an item for 600csc in the cash shop, do you get 100csc every time someone buys it?
3. Is there a purpose behind limiting the number of batches, besides making the item seem more exclusive?
4. Also, is there a way to increase the number of batches you release later or are you stuck with what you entered when you first submitted?

Ah, don't worry about it! I'm glad i'm not the only one with such questions. c: Also, I think I can answer your ? On the page where you can submit your custom clothing it says "You will not be able to release more than the number of batches you select and cannot change this number later, so please choose carefully and double-check before submitting!" so you're stuck with whatever number you put.

Alright, thank you. I suppose I just get confused whenever people say they're re-releasing stuff they had retired (or when they had unlimited slots but aren't in the cs), but I guess they had more batches left or something.

Maybe those people retired those items knowing they had batches left and chose to bring them back due to interest? I'm not sure about the CS thing though. Maybe they set it for unlimited batches but didn't want it in the CS if that's possible? Man, CWs are confusing.

1. Anything past the 5k mark will be awarded to you once the item is accepted!
2. You cannot chose your own price in the cash shop. It will automatically cost 600 and you only get 10% profit, so only 60 csc per item.
3. The purpose is to prevent lying, scamming, and cheating. If you say you're only releasing 3 batches, you can only release 3 with this system. It's a freezable offense to lie about the number of batches you're submitting. This also prevents accidents. You can't accidentally release an extra batch and unintentionally get yourself in trouble. Also, if there is a batch limit, you cannot put an item in the cash shop.
4. The number of batches you select is permanent. You can never release more than that; THOUGH some CW makers are asking for a way to reduce the original number of batches to make retiring an item easier if they accidentally chose more batches than interest would allow. So we'll see if that changes in the future. C:
