<p>In recent times it has become increasingly obvious that the direction and the needs of the band were in conflict, and this has led to a division from which we cannot recover.</p>
<p>Nightwish has no intention of cancelling any upcoming shows, and as a result we have decided to bring in a substitute vocalist starting in Seattle 1.10.2012. Her name is Floor Jansen from The Netherlands (ex-After Forever, ReVamp), and she has graciously stepped in to help us complete the Imaginaerum world tour.</p>
<p>We are all strongly committed to this journey, this vehicle of spirit, and we are sure that this will lead to a brighter future for everyone.
We forever remain excited about the adventures to come, and we are extremely proud of the two beautiful albums and the wonderful shows we shared together.</p>

This is really sad...
Just read about it a while ago. I don't know, honestly. While it's sad to see her go, as long as they're doing what's best for them, I'll be happy with their decisions.
I don't like Anette, so, good riddance, but they're getting Floor tour with them for the time being? Shit, I wish I was in a country that they were touring in. I love Floor Jansen.

Well, I couldn't help but feeling sad for her. I wish her good luck with her future and no more health problems.
On the other hand, Floor's name made me giggle xD
I wish good luck to them all. I feel very sad for her. Also I have that bad feeling when you don't know what to expect. I'm afraid that her future albums won't be something I like (I listened Tarja's soo albums but I don't like any song as I like NW songs). I afraid that future NW albums won't be so great. And even if there will be gorgeous music I can never get rid of the unpleasant memories that left yesterday's event.
Sorry for my poor Eglish but I had to speak out. My only friend who listens to Nightwish Tarja's fan and hates Anette.
I know what you feel. I checked out some AF songs, not really my thing, but Floor sounds pretty decent to be honest o:
I'm actually a Tarja fan but then I learned to like Nettie too, they just have different styles =p Let's just hope Tuomas can find a vocalist and keep her in the band this time ._.
I wish them luck but to be honest, I'm not sad to see her go. I never really liked her voice that much.
I really loved Nightwish when Tarja was there.. at first I didn't care much for Anette, but she did great with Amaranth. After that I began to appreciate her voice a little more. Now that she's no longer a part of Nightwish, I'm eager to see the next official vocalist.
I have to question, what's with the violent aggression?
I'm so sad about this, I preferred Nightwish with Anette. I guess they've done what's best for them and the band though so hopefully I still like their future albums.
Dang, I liked Anette D: But it will be interesting to see where they go from here, and hopefully their new vocalist will live up to expectations.
I didn't like Anette, so I'm kinda glad she's gone. xD I miss Tarja. BBY. But obviously they parted on awful terms haha so they're never getting her back. It'll be interesting to see who they bring in next. I hope she's good...better than Anette. >.<
