Hello my fellow Subetans! So I watch this show called Face Off on the SyFy (SciFi) channel. If you don't know what that show is it's a competition show featuring professional makeup artists. Movie makeup not fashion makeup. Anyways in the first episode they had a quick challenge which split the contestants in half and they had to either do a death or life themed makeup. They also were given a prosthetic and accessory that they had to incorporate into the makeup. Form that I decided it would be fun to do an HA contest that had a weekly theme and an item to go with it. We'd start with fourteen contestants and drop two people a week until we're down to two and the winner would be announced on Halloween.

I figured this would be too hard to do on my own so I asked my dear dear friend @Cresenta if she thought it was a good idea. She foolishly said yes and was thus conscripted into my madness. (seriously i'm constructing a statue in her honor for helping me out.) Anyways after much planning and plotting we decided we needed more judges for this thing.

We're hoping for at least three people so it's uneven in case we have disputes that need a majority rule and so we have a lot of opinions to better pick some winners. So if you would like to join our merry band please ping me or Cresenta. If you have any questions, comments, ideas, or anything else you can also ping us with those as well.

All the themes for each week have been selected but we still need items for each contestant to incorporate into their HA for each week. So if you'd like to nominate items feel free to do so because it would really help us out.

Here are the themes(cut from my message to my friend Cresenta):

Steam or Cyberpunk Fantasy- Because I'm kind of obsessed with with steampunk and I think cyberpunk is pretty cool too. This can be the first contestant split with seven on each side

Mutated Heroes- Heroes with a visible mutation that assists them in their heroics

Villains- Bad guys obviously. I'm thinking though that the item we give will need to be incorporated as their weakness

Life and Death- What we talked about with the items being opposite what the theme is. So life themer will have a death item. This will be the second contestant split

Human Versions of Inanimate Objects- But like weird objects, like tables or blenders

Really Big Item- Okay this theme is just what it says. We'll find items that take up a lot of space and covers a big part of the avatar and they have to make it work while featuring that item prominently. It has to be eighty percent visible or more

Last round: For the final two we'll look at the last two contestants previous entries and just pick something for each of them to do. I'm not sure if it should two separate themes or one theme though.
