Hi guys,

Vilkacis is my battling pet. Current stats: Level: 125 Health: 240 / 240 Strength: 283 Defense: 233 Speed: 232 Intelligence: 333

I just wanted to know whether my weapons were good or average, which to replace etc. I did have a limited budget for this (and still do) which is why they may not be the most awesome stuff... He knows the Divine Denizhen scroll too.

I do have quite a few healy items - I find they help with the tougher opponents though because they are one use per battle, I sometimes end up losing anyway...

Anyway, any help would be most appreciated!

Your set looks pretty good so far, though I don't think you need multiple attackers. Icy freezing rod of doom might be a nice addition. Cruento dolor and the Genetech swords might make good backup weapons. Gold quill makes yet another good clutch healer. Don't forget the king of all clutch healers: Phoenix quill.

Thanks heaps for that advice! Now I know what to save up for. Are there any attackers in particular that you think I should discard?

I'd say just keeping the ice bow or bleeding rose will suffice. There are a lot of infinite use tier 3 20 icon 1 mod slot attackers out there.

Personally I like the Jewel Encrusted Quill compared to the Gold Quill. The Jewel quill only heals 50 (gold heals 100) but the Jewel one does 12 icons of damage 3 in four different elements, while the Gold Quill only does 6 light. My main battle pet has I forget which scroll but it heals 15 and with the shrine of Apollina activated and potions I find that I can sacrifice the extra 50 heal the quill has for the chance at killing it faster. I also like the jewel encrusted quill because if I'm beating something easier I can use it to both take it out and heal my pet so I don't have to go to the healers to heal it again.

Oh wow, you're right! Thanks for bringing that weapon up to my attention. :) I didn't know it existed/what it did but am totally going to go buy it now. I love weapons that cause damage and heal - like you pointed out, they definitely save trips to the healers!

Yeah I mean obviously it isn't the best healer or anything but I have both that and the gear themed crossbow in my armory and I mean 42 icons and 50 heal isn't that bad for a round with a tier 3 pet (at least I don't think it is) especially with mods and things. Also the scroll I'm using is called 'Champion'. I should probably look into what other healing scrolls they are but it's an easy to obtain 15hp heal scroll and it's pretty much just a free 15hp every turn.

I find that gold quill might be better than jewel encrusted quill in tier 3. I feel that an extra 50 HP heal means more than an extra 6 icons.

Cursed and Spotted Hand

I like this weapon for the simple fact when used it'll do a little damage and leave behind a curse to do damage a few turns after it's gone. It's Once per Battle so nice to have when you need to do a little extra damage.

Yeah I think higher level healing scrolls get quite pricey.. Thanks for your help :)
