I saw there's another thread about profile comments already, but the issue is different, although I do believe they might be related.

When I reply to someone's comment, most of the time my comment won't go through. Instead, I get redirected to my own profile (within the small comment window). By using P2P I can tell that they never received my comment.

This seems to happen every time I use certain punctuation marks, like: ( ) - : and many more perfectly normal symbols you use in conversation. But sometimes it seems to happen randomly. So it's really frustrating.

I think it doesn't happen when I comment directly on someone's profile but I'm not sure, haven't tested much.

I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox 17.0.1

Does it literally bring up your profile, or say

It would literally bring up my profile. I just tested again and it seems I don't have this problem anymore, so this thread can be locked c:
