I've had this song stuck in my head and on repeat on my computer since I heard it for the first time. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. And it's going to be in the Hunger Games movie and I'm like FFFYEAAH.

I have to keep from crying every time I listen to it, though, which is hard, because I really do have it on repeat. XD

Same. It's beautiful - apparently, she doesn't make a lot of songs like that, which is a pity.

Taylor Swift is definitely one of the only guilty-country-pleasures I have :P I think people give her a tough time about her music but she has a lot of really great stuff imo, it just doesn't get a lot of notice.

She actually does have a lot of slow indie/rock stuff like 'Innocent', 'Enchanted', 'Never Grow Up', the acoustic version of 'Haunted', 'Untouchable', and of course 'Safe and Sound', which are all spectacular songs imo. She should just stop this country thing she's going for

Ahh, I found that song while randomly derping around on the internet a few days ago. /also guilty of putting it on loop.

I usually don't like Taylor Swift's songs very much, but this one has a nice cadence. <3

The music video's also quite lovely. She looks really nice with bangs, and the white dress in the woodsy setting is just ethereal.

I think Taylor Swift songs are quite relatable, and I guess she's one of my guilty pleasures too :P Her song Ours made me cry quite honestly, with the music video being centered on the army returning home ❤️

That's a beautiful and sad song. =) It's interesting to see her do that kind of music/lyrics - I've really only heard her major hits~

I really love this song, too. I'm no fan of any country, but this was absolutely beautiful. I have it downloaded and everything. XD

I actually do like country; I'm just usually not a fan of Taylor Swift's songs because of how lyric wise they all tend to have the same subject matter. That said, this song is actually pretty nice though. It's got a nice slow rhythm that works really well with it.

there's some country out there that i'm really into. taylor swift usually isn't amongst it, mostly because her music is entirely unrelatable for me. i find her lyrics by and large annoying, but safe & sound is really excellent. i am a huge fan of the civil wars though, so that helps matters. so excited to see how it's used if it's used in the actual film at all and not just as part of an "inspired by the movie" soundtrack.

I have to admit I was only ever drawn to Taylor Swift because she's ridiculously attractive (post-Hollywood makeover). I'm not a person to go out of my way to listen to pop or country, but I find her and her music to be sweet and quite endearing.

I remember the song from the one trailer. :D It's very pretty indeed. I'm certainly a fan and I'm very happy for its inclusion in The Hunger Games.

I was like OH GAWD NOT HERRRRR when they announced her for THG. But the song fits perfectly and I'm very pleased with it. She's a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm fascinated with her, she seems so goofy and innocent and grateful for everything that's happened to her. But she has this insane talent that's well beyond her years. I'm not a fangirl or anything (I don't have any of her songs on any CDs or whatever) but I do appreciate her contributions to music.

Love Safe and Sound so much. The song really fits with the movie and I'm really happy with how it worked out. The song is beautiful but sad, which makes it perfect for the movie and plot.
