Here are a few just by themselves So you can obviously see what my cw's are.... It's a transparent background with the leafy ornament decoration behind the HA, or can be layered on top of the HA like the cream one is....
My question is this: Would they be acceptable to the staff for approval? Would there be anyone interested in them? Are they pretty enough to want one in your wardrobe??
well, it's been a slice. I'm outta here. I'm done here and I need to move on to other things. I've grown weary of forum bullies and just don't have the energy for them anymore. I am praying for my friends here, as well as the bullies... everyone needs prayer...
As for my friends, I love you immensely and you are always in my heart and in my soul. God bless each of you and I pray He blesses each of you greatly.

this looks like it was made with a brush online? I mean its cool looking but if you used a downloaded brush i dont think so
- These are gorgeous! I imagine the cream one would sell best since it's a more neutral color. c: Or maybe a light pink one for the ladies.
no it's a brush I assembled myself.

I really like those! Particularly the beige one. Really pretty. I bet you could sell a ton of them.
ok so you all think that the staff will accept them? I mean there's no line art but there's also a lot of cw's out there that don't have line art.

- You may want to reduce the overlay size slightly so the edges of the glow don't get cut off (unless that's intentional). You could try submitting it as is, and if they ask for line art just add a thin black outline.
It's a wonderful idea, but it is very pixelated near the leaf part which kinda turns me off from wanting to own one (it's also what makes it look like a brush rather than hand drawn)
May I inquire what canvas size, program and brush type you used?
~ Those are kind of cool. Where is purple? =^-^=
yah there are bits and pieces that I'm not too thrilled about but wanted to get an idea if they were "likeable"... I'd have to tweak them of course.
It was a brush I drew myself, so yes, it technically is a brush. I'm using PSP9
sorry!
soyah, the edge on the right lower side cuts off a bit of the glow.... aarrgh... this means I have.. no wait. I know what to do easy fix. Ok I can take my pen on my tablet and soften the edges of the leaves and stems.
And just fyi - there's a "white" layer underneath the bold colors because I want to give it a 'shadowy' effect underneath.

~ oh that's nice! The lower corner on the bottom though seems funny.. the straight edges?
yah, those would have to be fixed
that's a good idea. I'll try doing that.

Uhm... Unfortunately I don't believe even brushes you created yourself are allowed (unless you can provide original sketch and the like) because it is so easy for people to take brushes from others and 'claim' them as theirs. A single brush (custom or not) leaves a very distinct 'I-am-a-brush' look (pixelated) which can lead to suspicion and cause denial first time go. They are very likable but I would recommend using the original drawing to create them rather than the brush seeing as though it would be smoother and more consistent. :3
Hope this helps!
thanks for your wisdom my dear. However me and my tablet don't get along very well when it comes to paint brush type strokes... don't quite know how to use it well enough. Perhaps there's something I'm missing in my PSP that can do this technique and I just don't know how to use that. I should get some PSP tutorials and figure out how to do that technique. Once I learn how, and how to do line art, I'm sure I'd go far....

It's def an interesting idea for sure. It's hard to say whether or not you'll need lineart or not. Since there is no way to know ahead of time, I would take the advice and just submit it to see if it would be accepted. There are bgs w/out lineart, but they are usually full bgs, not partial things like this. Plus, they've said things like water of fire don't need lineart, but I'm not sure about something like this with just a glow. But yeah, pretty tho! I agree with Kraken tho, you'd have to prove you made the brush yourself for them to probably accept it.
What exactly does your tablet do to give you trouble? And what kind of tablet is it?
@LokiLaufeyson i like them to they have a lot of pizazz! maybe reducing the glow size is a quicker fix, looking forward to you submitting x_x

I know in the past if the staff isn't quite convinced that you have drawn the CW yourself they might as for you to submit any proof you might have that you did in fact draw it yourself (sketches, layers, previous versions of it, etc) so that they can be sure you didn't just download a brush offline and submit as your own sort of deal, so if you have any WIPs from when you were drawing this you might need to file a ticket after any denials you might get proving that you did yourself draw this. :) I personally like the blue ones the most.
