I'm in a comics fandom mood. Here's what I'd like to do:

Marvel Based, or DC Based

I can do some canons from the universe, such as:

DC Wally West (the Flash) Selina Kyle (Catwoman)

Marvel Alison Blaire (Dazzler - I'd be doing the Ultimate plus Classic Version kinda merged into one) Wade Wilson (Deadpool)

I might be able to do Tony Stark.

We could combine universes (both Marvel and DC, I mean), stick to one, or alternate. I'd looove it if I could find a partner that could play canons I can't play, and what not. Maybe give us room to both have OCs. And I can try my hand at other canons, if desired.

I'm cool with just about any pairing, canon or not. In general, I prefer a certain level of AU anyway, just to keep things fresh and interesting. No limits. Don't care about the genders, either (with the exception of Catwoman, who I can't picture as anything other than straight, but the rest could go anyway you want). As far as the actual roleplay goes, I like stuff that's heavy on action, drama, and friendship/family cheese. I do do romance as well, and can enjoy it, but I don't like it to be THE main focus of the roleplay, but rather, something that progresses along with the story. I'd prefer a relatively literate partner, and while I can do shorter replies, I tend to prefer longer ones. I'd also be looking for a roleplaying partner I can chat with, and plan stuff out with, at least enough to get a skeleton of the plot.

I'm a little hesitant posting this, because I've never really done a written-out DC/Marvel roleplay. I'm more into Batman as of lately, since I'm in the process of reading the graphic novels. I'd be really interested in mixing DC and Marvel together into one universe, that sounds like it would be pretty awesome. Anyhow, if you're still looking for a roleplay, I'd be up to try something.

Definitely still looking. We could set it in Gotham, if you'd like, since you're more familiar with Batman, and have it primarily focus on him, and his villains, but introduce some Marvel characters that might be appropriate for the Batverse? How much do you wanna mix and match, here? n-n

I'd love for it to be based in Gotham, and for it to be primarily based around him and his villains, actually! But adding some Marvel characters I think would definitely spice it up a bit~ Let's see...it's hard to say who would be appropriate to squeeze into the Batverse...I know I love Tony Stark, but I don't know how well he'd fit in with Gotham? I know that Stark and Wayne are both billionaires, they also enjoy kicking-butt. I'm not entirely sure how well that would collide with the Batverse. p: What do you think? Any ideas who would mix well?

I could argue that both Tony and Deadpool, as a matter of fact, would fit quite well. Deadpool might have to be slightly less crazy (although a very similar character, Ambush Bug, in terms of crazy, exists in the DC universe), but his origin works. Government based experiment to enhance human properties? Definitely seems plausible. He'd need some tweaking, though. Iron Man could also fit, since he's tech based. Iron Man could be a good foil, or a very bad addition, depending. Since he and Bruce are both geniuses, billionaires, and tech-based. Bruce with a multitude of gadgets, and Tony with primarily the suit. Depends on how many similarities you'd want there to be. Punisher could be an interest, darker version of a Batman-like vigilante. Uhhh... I could also argue for Captain America, or Black Widow, since they're also more "normal". Sadly, though, I'm not as familiar with them, and I don't know what kind of justice I could do them.

What canons would you like to be, btw? Should both of us just have one primary character, and NPC some others for the sake of plot?

I'm a little bit familiar with Captain America, but not enough to give his role justice. Same with Black Widow or Punisher. I could definitely see how Deadpool could fit into the role of things, especially in Gotham, but you're right, he'd need to be a little lower on the crazy scale. I think we could squeeze Deadpool in there, but I'd picture him more as a side-character, only played when needed, you know? As for Tony, well, I'm sure we could come up with some logical reason why he'd be in Gotham.

Yes, we should. We'll definitely be needing some NPC action for plot-sake. For the canons, I was leaning more towards Bruce Wayne, since I know most about him. In Gotham's realm, I could play a various of other sorts, too, if they were needed. Were we going to use OCs too?

We could just have the two universes smooshed together, so Gotham's where he's at instead of New York? Saves time and energy.

Yes, we can use OCs, I figure that would be a good idea. I think I'll take Catwoman, I can do DP as a minor role, probably do Tony. I could also do Victor Zsasz, maybe Mr. Freeze, probably Scarecrow. Miiight be able to do Punisher, but don't quote me.

How do you want the timeline to work out? Do you want this to be when Bruce is starting out as Batman, early in his career, mid career, late? And how much of an AU did you wanna go? have any changes to the verse you'd like to make, besides addition of certain Marvel characters?

Smooshing together would make it simpler. I like that.

Sweet, I love me some Selina~ She's pretty amazin'. Well, besides Bruce, I could probably manage a decent Joker, perhaps even Harley Quinn if we need her crazyness in this. How will the OCs fit in? I'm sure we can go over that when we start working on the plot~

Timeline...hmm...I'm gonna have to vote his early career. Like, within his first year as Batman. Let's see here, anything else to change...well, the only thing I'd probably get mixed up with is timeline. Like, when certain events in Gotham/Batman's life happened. That's the only thing I'd really want to alter. Try to mush some of the more important events into his first year as Batman timeline, instead of having to go through the comics and see what happened in what year of his life as Batman. You know what I mean?

Besides all of that, we'll still need to develop a plot~ :]

I love Selina too. XD Huge fan. I think I'll combine multiple versions of her since she's had so many over the years.

As far as OCs, I would say, since you vote early in the career, they're just surfacing. Villain and Hero OCs would only just be appearing, since everything seems to come to a head at the same time in the comic universe.

That makes sense. What events would you like to carry over? Would you like to have Selina and Bruce be previously unacquainted, and have them meet in the roleplay, or only have met like.. once or twice prior? And, if you're up for it, I wouldn't mind starting their relationship off as antagonist, maybe even on semi-opposite sides. Although, obviously not full villain, since even villain Catwoman wasn't very bad. XD

Plotline. Hmm. I'd love to do something more domestic that eventually gives way to serial killers and pscyhos that Batman is so known for. Perhaps something with the organized mob? Mob and corruption would be something systemic, something that would take a while for Batman to counter, instead of just defeating the villain and ending their plan. OCs could be introduced through various mob connections, as far as the OC villains go. Then, as the war starts escalating, various events help create more and more Batman villains, get them involved, etc. Which would also give reason for heroes to get involved.

Alternatively, we could do something with Bruce Wayne as the kicker. He never seems to be threatened/endangered very much in the comics, and it could be nice to put Batman in a precarious situation in terms of protecting his identity. Or we could do a No Man's Land type plot for Gotham. Or have a couple, powerful, likeminded villains join up?

All vague, I know, but best I could come up with at the moment. Semi-tired. XD

I am also a large fan of Catwoman, she is absolutely one of my favorites~ WOO, CATWOMAN! Now that I have that out of my system; I do agree that their relationship should be more on the antagonist side, yes, but they should have met at least once prior, just so there's that vague familiarity to their relationship.

Mm, the stuff I'd like to either carry over or clarify would be stuff about the Robins. Would Bruce have had his first Robin yet? Would Nightwing already be Nightwing? Would Jason already be dead and 'evil'? Stuff like that. Let's see, what else could be mushed into that timeline...it's hard to say right now what exactly, I'm also starting to drift off to sleep xD But I must keep typing!

Man, both of those plots sound like something I really want to do. It's true that Batman isn't often threatened, and that would be an interesting change of events, but also something that would actually take time for him to decipher and work through those minute, fine, annoying details would be great, too(plus all the involving of OCs)! I can be just as vague! xD

Well, here's something. Perhaps it can start off as the stuff with the Mob and a lot of events go down, etc, things escalate, but eventually it ventures into Batman getting in quite the predicament and his identity/life being threatened by it?

Great~ Um, the only thing I would like to still bring up is what gender pairings there would be. MxM, MxF or FxF? I'm okay with all of it, really. Which do you prefer? And yes, that sounds good. We can start now; are Selina and Bruce going to be our primary characters? Just need to make sure!

I'm okay with all of it, as well, and I don't really have a strong preference in the slightest. We can just see who hits it off, and who doesn't? Unless you have some specific pairings in mind? Yeah, my primary'd be Catwoman, I'd say. And I'll play a variety of NPCs as needed. (I can also do Alfred, if you'd like).

I don't have a specific pairing in mind, really. I know I do want some action between Catwoman and Batman, but that's kind of a given xD I love their relationship. I'll also play some NPCs~ And if you played Alfred for me, that would be awesome~ he's kind of important. Oh, right! Umm...I've been better with sMail lately, so if we could do it there, that would be great. We can always switch to email if we need to.
