Do Kuikorosu and Abaddon work together in battle?

I have Abaddon right now and want to make Kuikorosu...but want to make sure I can use both weapons at the same time in battle....

You can use both weapons at the same time, though I do feel that there are much better weapons for their prices than legendary combos.

As far as I know, the only two weapons that don't work together are the Item Hunter Bomb and the Acorn Bomb, and that's just temporary.

I'm open to ideas if you care to share. :) :) :)

An example of a weapon that is better for its price would be Malice, in that it not only does slightly more damage, it also has superior defense and can temporarily boost your attack and defense by 25 each use while giving a curse.

What about Mod slots....Does Malice have them?

Malice does have one less mod slot than legendary combos (3 as opposed to 4), but its advantages over legendary combos should be worth one less mod slot.

I do recommend getting essentials such as recycle blaster or phoenix quill or a good permanent healer before getting Malice though.

As far as the other items. I currently have the one ring, phoenix quill, recycle blaster, reviver of the lion.....shinwas temple shard, deluxe death shard..subetaball.. abaddon of course, and a few of the forj tempered weapons....

I'm just doing a bit of recon to figure out what i should get for a second weapon. Because I really only have one weapon that does major damage (abaddon).

Secondary weapons can vary very much from opponent to opponent (for example, while Malerias short sword is great against Recycle Beast, it sucks against Fish Breath Jacques thanks to his blessing blocking most of its attack and the sword not blocking anything he throws at you). For this, I do recommend having a diverse armory once you are ready for very hard and higher challengers (actually, even at the hard level, that may be a good idea). An alternative to the One Ring's one-time 1K HP heal would be the infinite use flame of red rreign cuirass+polearm (heals 100 and 75 respectively when equipped together).

An upgrade you can make is upgrading Subetaball to truth serum or soma tablets (pretty much a better version of recycle blaster, although it does take up the stealer slot and CAN be equipped with recycle blaster as well). Rainbow vortex is great in that it acts as a Shinwas temple shard that has a chance of freezing your opponent (seems to freeze about 20~25% of the time).

Interesting! As far as challengers.. I have defeated all the hard ones. Just gearing up for the big ones u know? :) The worst thing is my pet stats. The highest is 300 level and 400 everything else. I keep training but i figure it will be a while before I am strong enough to even tackle the very hard opponents. What do you think? Do you think if I did have the right set of weapons I could tackle them now?

For the most part, very hard challengers will be out of your reach for now. Although if you get truth serum and malice as well as the flame of red rreign set, it may be possible to defeat Felibot if you have a LOT of patience. Add in a pirate cutlass and you could defeat Fish Breath Jacques as well. Recycle Beast and Wyrmgear are definitely going to require more stats though (I got my first Wyrmgear win at about 610 evens and my first Recycle Beast win at about 620 evens, and there are even people with 800 evens who have trouble with Wyrmgear).

My biggest advice here is that you STOP training level until all your other stats reach 750. Level does not affect your damage or anything at all in-battle, it only allows you to train the other stats up to 2.5x its value.

If you are after the achievements very badly, I suggest training a pet in level only.

Ahhhh I didn't realize i didn't need to train level for battle. Cool. Thanks for the heads up. Question though. How does training level help with getting achievements? Are you talking about all achievements or just specific ones?

There are achievements for having your pet be a certain level, with the lowest at 100 and the highest at 1000, all in increments of 100, just like it is for the other stats.
