yesterday someone gifted me a happy thought minion...

And today I try out the wizard zapper for the first time and it turns the happy thought into a puddle of slime.

I made a very unhappy noise, but I have learned my lesson

And renamed my pet's minion accordingly.

I usually put a cheap minion to my lab pet.You should do the same next time,sorry :c

Believe me.I've been here for ~ 3 years and I've made a mistake that cost me 40m so don't feel bad xD

As a warning (before you experience that first hand-too) the zapper can also vaporise items in your inventory! So it's worth clearing everything out to your vault/shop/wherever right before each visit.

On the bright side at least you got a slime (occasional stat booster, slightly valuable) rather than an Evil Goop (absolutely worthless)? You should sell the slime and stick on a cheap minion for future zappings (e.g. Scout, Timpanari). Few more slimes and you might make back the worth of the Happy Thought. :)

Then again, the whole thing was rather poetic. The Happy Thought was named Hope, and served as the one Happy Thought in my pet's dreary life. And now it's named "Here lies Not-Bob's Hopes and Dreams".

Not-Bob is such a crybaby he deserves to be in weenie hut jr.

Oh gosh you don't even know, I'll have been on the site for 3 years this April, and I've made this mistake quite a good number of times! D: I think I had a minion worth 2 million sP zapped into GOOP once (which, unlike the slime, is totally useless), and I was silly enough to not put something worth 17 million in my vault and have it zapped instead (but thank goodness it was restockable!)

But that's an amazing way of transforming the slime into something fitting for your character's story! XD That being said, welcome to Subeta, and I can't wait to see how your pet's story unfolds! (It seems you had one heck of a welcome too :"D I hope you find it fun here!)

I think you should seriously call him Not Bob. I know that may seem like a really simpleton thing to say, but it totally works and it's available.

true but... how do you go about changing a pet's name?

You first have to have 500 Cash Shop Credits and then you go into your pets menu and there is an option to "Change Name". It's sadly not free, but an idea. :)

Or of course there's the cheap version, where you create a new pet called "Not Bob" and transfer all the existing stuff from the old pet to the new one, then think of something else to do with the old pet...

Yeah I made it back, it took me a few days questing but I managed it. I've learnt my lesson of storing things in my vault now, between zappers and pesky wizard minions!

Also can I just say how much I love your HA?!
