We now have a "Challenge this opponent again" Button for battling, and I was just thinking, a "vend again" Button would be super useful, rather than having to go back to the vending machine time and time again.
But wouldn't that kind of cancel out the point of vending and basically turn it into a one-click monstrosity? I think vending is fine as is.
- I thought the point of vending was to get items in exchange for tokens, a vend again button wouldn't change that, it would just make less clicks. (and vending is a pain in the ass as it is)
Maybe I'm just old and grumpy (which is actually very likely the case), but I really do like it the way it is. I worked hard for the vending achievements, I don't think someone should get the same amount of items as I did in half as many clicks.
If it gets changed to be a one click kind of deal I will flip a table.

- Granted the fact that vending is a pain in the ass is probably why I don't have the achieve right now, and I pretty much only vend for Major Drills quests. But hey, I worked hard to beat the mini gelatins 5000 times for that achieve before the 'challenge again' button came into play, and that button saves TWO clicks per battle, and I couldn't care less that it'll be ever so slightly easier for people to get that achieve now. (and I am still very happy that button exists, which is why I'm making this suggestion)
How does the battle again button save two clicks? All it does is keep you from going to the main challengers page... you still have to pick which pet and if you are keeping your set the same, which is the same as it would be normally?
Which still doesn't have anything to do with literally halving the amount of work vending is.
- It saves you from having to go back to the main page, scrolling to the opponent, and choosing your pet. I suppose that's only one click but that page takes longer to load than the vending page.
Anyway, that's not the point here.
The people who already have the vending achieves will still reap the benefits of faster vending. And the people who don't have the achieves yet are either too lazy to be bothered to make 10000 clicks anyway, or don't have the tokens for it. I don't think that adding a vend again button is undermining the people who "worked hard" for those achieves at all.

Vending is already insanely easy.
From what I understand there would be two problems, mainly much easier for auto-clickers, and it would probably even worsen the effect on the economy.
vending is supposed to take time and effort and patience, not something that can be easily done with autoclickers. (which is what would happen if it was one click)

We've been told time and time again that vending is supposed to be tedious and boring. I don't see them changing it anytime soon.
While I really don't care one way or another, since I HATE the vending machines because all they basically do is: a) deflate everything they spit out to being worthless, or b) achievements... I do want to point out the pot and kettle logic going on with not making it even easier than it is.

Vending is already mindnumbing and easy, just like battling, so I don't really see why it's legit to make one boring thing easier but it's totally ridiculous to make another boring thing easier. If anything, I support the downfall of vending because when idly battling in mass I can just bookmark "The thing Craig is about to slaughter 8D" and everytime he destroys it's face, I can just hit the bookmark. You can't do that with vending or it gets it's panties in a knot.
And forget vending on a mobile device. That's like the second most "LOL I hope you weren't expecting to accomplish anything here ERRORS AND BLANK PAGES EVERYWHERE" thing to try and do on subeta, outside of browse trades (I'd say.. or comment people but haha that doesn't work on a normal computer either, so I won't bother pinning that one on my phone).

Battling isn't meant to be 'boring' though which is why tedious doesn't need to be associated with the process after all thew work you put into training and everything. Battling still has more steps than vending though. If you line your mouse up with the go back button in vending you can just click every time the page loads without moving your mouse. battling even with the button requires you to select your pet again and click start battle if you don't need to heal or choose weapons. The vending is you get an item every other click the battling is selecting options before hand.
I feel like fragging is a little bit different though. You don't get an item back every time you vend, you're inflating items, destroying them, and I feel as though crystals maintain a steady enough price. The items we vend however tend to deflate and we get an item for every vend. People are already talking about wanting to get rid of vending because of all the deflation I feel like this would add to it even more.
That's beyond the point. They used to say, fragging has to be tedious. Both times you're destroying something to generate something else, except fraggins isn't a 100% chance for items R65 and under.
Vending makes very few sense to me in the first place, and I'd be all for its destruction. It's the least interactive feature, where people just spend hours mindlessly clicking. It really doesn't take any skill (or brain, if you prefer), and there's plenty of ways to have it automated already.

I think this would be nice. I don't see why a game feature should be designed to be tedious and boring. Though clicking a button once instead of twice isn't exactly fun and exciting anyway. I don't think halving the number of clicks it takes to vend would have too much of an effect on the economy. The price of tokens should stabilize the prices of vended items. When items deflate too much, people stop vending because it is no longer worth the tokens.
