gets around

I have an image I use as a shop banner, I use this code:

Every time I edit my shop in some way, like altering the shop text slightly or selecting a new item order, it messes up the shop description and the image won't work any more. When I view my shop, I can only see the code, not the actual image.

This is an issue that has been present for the two years I've been on this site. It's not hard to work around it, usually when I delete all code, save, then enter a new text it will work. (This time it doesn't, but that's probably because site has been wonky for me since the event started.) It's just super annoying to have this happen every time :(

I think it's because the HTML code, like or

changes, messing up the code. The brackets change to < and >.

I have to make sure I replace that sequence of characters (they are the HTML entities for the brackets) with the actual brackets, otherwise the code breaks and does not work. It's really annoying. Every time I edit the shop description, they change to those entities. It's been like this for a very long time.

This is actually a known issue, listed here: Seeking Custom Pet Overlay (Wookie). :)
