My cat is currently pregnant. This is her second litter. The first litter consisted of one and we kept him. We took in another cat, and she ended up pregnant again because evidently the new cat was older than it was supposed to be. (This is the second time we've had to cancel her spay appointment for something like this.)
We have a home for the baby, and we're getting her spayed as soon as it is weaned (I'm pretty sure there will only be one because she's such a tiny cat), so hopefully we won't have to do this again. We're getting boy kitty fixed as soon as we can get an appointment (which is evidently really hard here).
Its really exciting though. I sort of don't like this cat a whole bunch normally, but when she's pregnant she's really friendly. She slept on my lap today for like two hours. It was precious. She also comes and steals my food and bothers me constantly.
Hopefully she won't try to give birth on my head while I'm sleeping this time.

I do too. Her first one looked exactly like her only in grayscale, but now that he's growing up they're pretty identical. I'm hoping that her new one doesn't look like her and that the father's genetics get in there somewhere. He has a littermate that is orange and one that is a tortoise shell and he has a tail like a maine coon, so I'm hoping that something will happen with this one and that it isn't just another gray and black striped cat so I can tell them all apart.

With the father's littermates, as it a controlled litter or not? If a female cat say, gets out and comes back pregnant, most female cats mate with multiple males - so their babies are actually more like half siblings most of the time. Cat genetics are really weird though XD Hopefully the kitten(s) will come out cool looking.... though I don't think you'll have too much trouble, because even if they look a lot like the parents, they should be quite a bit smaller - only issue might be telling them apart, lol.
Yea it would suck if three of the cats looked exactly the same exspecialy if the new one is a female. Will you put a picture up of it when its born?

My cat had kittens on my dad's head while he was asleep one time. pretty funny stuff. cats seem most friendly when they are pregnant i wonder why?
Yeah, the father's littermates all had the same father. Orange definitively runs in their family, b/c his mom was black white and orange. When the kitten is smaller its easy to tell them apart. Its when they all become the same size.......

Cats are so awkward. I can't believe it actually gave birth on his head. xD She is super friendly though. I think its because she wants people food. She only comes around my fiancee when he's eating. I think she likes to try to steal my warmth, though. She randomly cuddles with me all the time.
