My weapon Set

Any help/suggestions would be great

I managed to beat Carrion Lord using my tier seven pet, Swag.

I didn't use any scrolls, pylonics, or potions.

My weapon set was:

Instead of the soma tablets you could probably use the recycle blaster. Neither the helm or the gloves are necessary, any heavy attacker you have can take their place. You have the deluxe death shard, shinwas temple shard, and the phoenix quill. All that leaves is the acorn bomb and the reviver, both of which are pricey.

But you might be able to find alternatives that are cheaper, for example the or the .

The reviver might not be necessary since you have the reborn icewand of doom with the 10% healing. If you combined it with another weapon with a healing percentage, maybe something with 5%, you can recuperate the same amount of hp in about 6 rounds as you'd get from the reviver's 90% healing.

I was able to beat Carrion Lord x5 with my T7 pet (Apos). My set was:

• Wrath of Nature, Cobalt Eternal, and Divine Denizen scrolls.

My strategy was basically freeze + soma tablets, hit hard as much as I can, and full block/heal when I get low on health. Definitely lost a number of times, but still got to 5. With some luck, I think he might be able to get a couple more wins in... but I don't think I have the patience. xD

I have a stupid question. Do you think it's possible for me to defeat Carrion w/a tier 6 pet (L313)? Intel 671, all other starts 780s. I have soma, reviver/lion, phoenix q, emerald staff, forj shield, black hole, reborn wand, shards space/time, various legendaries, and cherry blossom scythe. My only 100% freeze weapon is icy freezing wand/doom. I don't know what kind of attack damage is the most effective against him, and/or if I'm just wasting my time. Insight?

: Honestly, I'm not very familiar with weapons outside those in my set/in my previous sets, so I might not be the person to ask. Stat-wise, I feel like you could probably get a win out of him, but it could take quite a few losses?

Thanks for the encouragementI I don't have a lot of experience yet, so I'm often unsure about who to even take on. I want to push myself, but I don't want to waste my time and sp when all I can do is lose and heal. Your kind words give me hope.

The weapons you used to beat him can all be used by tier 6 pets, so it is possible that could defeat him using those weapons, although she will likely require more attempts than you due to lower stats.

Twisted Rift Blade helped me a lot when I paired it with my RIWoD cause of the added healing.

My tier 6 pet got a single win in as well but it's pure luck. You may want to stock up on Darkness Shards, use lots of dark fire, dark light, and dark magma potions, try and use some Glaciating and Negating Pylonics too, it helps. If you can borrow a Reviver of the Lion and replace your Polearm there an added healer can help a lot. (And since it doesn't take up the healer slot you're good to go!)

I love you! You always know what weapons to use and how to use them. What type of damage is most effective against him? It seems like I should deal out more hurt than I am doing now. What would you recommend to defend against all of the dark and fire damage he does?

The problem with tier 6 and under is that dark defense is very limited. Darkness shard and cobalt eternal scrolls will help with the dark (the cobalts help with all of his other icons other than the magma). Fire shards can also take care of fire.

The worst icon types to hurt him with are fire and physical due to his sand traps having a partial block of both, but I don't think the icon type you hurt him with matters too much. His paralyzing fear full blocks every icon type, so they are all even in that regard.
