I use Photobucket but they aren't any good for bigger images. What do you all use?
I used to have this awesome Russian hosting site that was invite only but one day they just disappeared. :(

- I use imageshack but they don't accept gifs any longer unless you are a premium member. I also use Fotki but, again, unless you are a premium member they have restrictions on image size.
I have a free registered account with imageshack and use the imageshack desktop uploader which is easier than having to go to the site whenever I want to upload an image.
I make profiles and keep all my graphics there and also link from them without any trouble.
Basics:
Does ImageShack cost anything?
No, ImageShack is free.
Are there any size restrictions for uploading files?
Each image you upload must be less than 5 megabytes in size, 10 megabytes for premium users.
How much bandwidth can I use?
ImageShack allows unlimited bandwidth for images, videos, and slideshows when viewed from our landing page, as well as unlimited bandwidth for registered users.
How many files can I upload?
You can upload up to 500 files into your account

ahh i hate photobucket. personally i'm partial to imgur just because it's really simple. i've used tinypic once or twice as well and it seems okay.
I personally use imgur for my own purposes; it handles large images rather well. Another one I can recommend is puu.sh (or puush.me); it does require a program though, but you can literally upload screenshots by just pressing three keys, and stuff. It appears to be the best for handling large images for me (as my internet connection which always loads Photobucket, tinypic, and imageshack images as mangled NEVER loads a puu.sh image badly for me.) That is, it's probably adaptive with GET/POST methods, which benefits those with weirder connections.
I've used tinypic for a while, but it started to look mangled on my connection, because their GET method isn't compatible with my connection - that and I got banned for whatever reason, even if I only used it to host a CW draft; probably because of someone else within my area who abused it.
I also use my personal site for hosting images, especially if they're bigger stuff, like tutorials and guides, which may get too much bandwidth for a free image hosting site. :)
I am definitely going to try imgur now. I think I probabaly won't try image shack only because I see a lot of "over limit" graphics around the web and what I need to use the hosting for I can imagine I'd go over limit pretty quickly.
I have personal site hosting with my mom's website but until we get a long term (longer than six months) hosting plan I don't use it very often.

I suggest that you do, imgur is pretty nifty! It has a tendency to keep making my uploads fail, but that's only because my connection's upload speed is insanely slow (^ 0.01 kbps.) I will also have to warn you that the maximum image size for imgur is 2MB - otherwise, it can handle things well.
Puu.sh does have a limit of 200 mbps at a time; never noticed that until now. :C
Hopefully you can get a long term hosting plan though; yes, it tends to be expensive, but if you plan to actually use your website a lot, it's well worth every cent. :)
