Ok so I'm constantly being asked for advice and help when it comes to the fragger. I don't mind answering questions! I figured this would be more helpful to more people though.
The basic :
The fragger accepts items that are r1-r99 only. This means slots items, random game items etc will not even show up on the page as an option to frag. There is no list of frag items as everything r1-r99 is fragable. For a list I suggest you check either SubetaLodge or SubetaHQ
The rarities:
The higher rarity category it's in the more likely you are to get a crystal. Below is a chart for rarities, rarity group then average crystals from each item. The averages of crystals given are based off of 50 items fragged.
1-20 Really Common (36%) 21-30 Mundane (42%) 31-50 Common (30%) 51-65 Normal (34% ) 66-85 Rare (100%) 86-90 Super Rare (1.5:1) 99 Super Rare (2.5:1) I've never found these to be worth it so didn't test them but this is from what I've heard.
I will continue testing some of these just to be sure. As you can see some of the rarities seem off. I've never tested based on rarity of lower rarity items so will continue to do so.
Methods:
User shop page: The most basic way of fragging items is go to either sbl or sbq and find items that are cheap and buy all that you want from user shops.
Big shops: With so many people vending it's nice to be able to find a big shop with 20+ pages and go in page by page and just buy as much as you want. It's really fun when I find 50+quantity items since it's easier to frag with the same item instead of 100 different items.
Big Shop item finder: Same general rule as big shops above but instead of just going through and buying everything in that one shop you use that shop as a guide to buy items out of main user shops. Thank you to Stephanie for reminding me of this method.
Vending: Vend items from wherever you wish and frag the items vended. Thank you ruslop for reminding me of this method.
Shop keeper: For this method you will need to have a GA. As you quest or browse subeta and happen to come across a really cheap item throw it in a shop. I keep rares in one shop and lower rarities in another shop. When I find an item worth around 1k no matter what the rarity I throw it in the appropriate shop. Every once in a while, when I'm in the mood to frag I'll check that shop by viewing the 'edit items' page. Under where you insert the price usually you will see something like "Lowest: 950 sP". Look for items going for less than your limit. If you have a day you don't auto price your regular shop you can make it even easier by auto pricing then searching by price for less than 500 sp or whatever your limit is.
Fragtag: The idea behind this is you go to present giving in arctic frost. You enter in 500 sp and the person's name. This is the lowest amount of sP you can enter. Take turns sending items back and forth to people. This is my fav and cheapest method of getting fragging items but is sometimes difficult as you need a partner.
My general rule for buying items is if its r1-65 dont spend over 100 sp. If its r66-89 spend up to 500 sp. If its over that 750 sp. That's what I spend. You need to figure out for yourself what you're comfortable with spending. After getting an inventory full of items some people just go frag them then and there. I prefer to quickstock them to a shop dedicated to frag items and frag later.
Anyone is welcome to ask or answer questions on this thread.

Keep at it and soon you can have a collection like this!
Thread re-made at the request of Original thread here. It is an old thread and I haven't fragged in a while so if anything is outdated feel free to post that as well.

Very helpful- thanks!
Oh thanks for the info! Now I know why alot of people go gungho when the wizard quest is the weekend quest!
I am confused. Mundane has a bigger percentage of getting a crystal than a normal item? I dont get that when Normal items are more rare than Mundane. Or is that just...a guesstimate?

I tested them and those were the numbers that came out. That was years ago though. Fragger has changed quite a bit since then. This thread needs to be updated. Feel free to test and post numbers if you find out differently.
My method is this: SubetaLodge.org - display all items lst, limit to rarities 1-99 and sort by user price.
Their user price isn't the most current, but it's pretty decent.
Then you can scroll down and click user-shop-search. If you hold down the Ctrl key then click on the link it will open in a new tab without taking you from the page. I use this method to open 5 tabs in a row real fast. Then hit Ctrl + Tab to scroll through your tabs. If the item is over my frag-sP limit I hit Ctrl + W to close the tab - takes you to the next.
If you do this for a little bit anyone can get those keyboard shortcuts under their belt and it will save you sooo much time!
EDIT: The biggest catch with this is SubetaLodge shows many things as R1-99 but it has been retired more recently... those are not fraggable. Grr I keep forgetting to check. Guess I will sell these 52 pairs of grey malicious slippers.....
